I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The technicians are mostly good natured and willing to help. There is a great opportunity here with the technology available. I can see how you can learn a variety of systems and get very good very quickly. This place has such great potential I am going to give it 4 out of 5 starts for that fact alone. Your skills have to improve and improve quickly here. It’s a great place to be multi-tasking and think on your feet.

    Cons

If you know what you are doing, stay away from inhouseIT. I know they are taking advantage of me with my low pay but I hope to gain the experience and move on soon. If, like me, you are desperate for that first IT job, then I suppose we must endure the daily humiliation inhouseIT generously provides. For some reason unknown to me, management is constantly lying. All you need to do is talk to anyone else and the lies become...

    Advice to Management

Make the company more about the staff and less about yourself and profits. Maybe create a training budget and allow for more time off. It is clear you want as many billable hours as possible, but my home life is going to struggle if I choose to stay. You should have such a great organization I want to stay. As of right now, I do not want to be there, and it is all your fault management.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I was recently asked what was the best professional decision I have made. My response was coming to work for inhouseIT over 10 yrs ago. I began at an entry-level position and through the guidance and support of upper management, I was given the opportunity to develop my skills and grow into my current management position. While technology has continued to change over the years, the commitment of our CEO and President...

Past employees who continue to blame the company for their lack of success. Our CEO, Glen, has always had an open-door policy, so shame on them if they did not take advantage of that. I’ve gone in there many times over the years, and have always come out feeling positive of the direction we were heading after speaking with Glen. The same employees claim there’s no career advancement possible. They need to look in...

    Pros

Few good people, not much else.

    Cons

Well I wanted to believe the hype that all of the reviews are from a bad employee. Yes some are from this previous employee but not all of them are. When 50 people have an issue with 1 person its uusally the person, but here we have the reverse of that. Several people have an issue with the employer/management and the issues seem to be closely related which would indicate that the company needs to look at itself...

    Advice to Management

If you look after your staff, they'll look after your customers. It's that simple. Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don't want to. Words of Sir Richard Branson
