Pros

great people, family atmosphere, and legitimate care for each other

Cons

The CEO knows jack about the enterprise atmosphere. Wants deals to close in twelve seconds with a six figure booking value. He is a great family man with good morals, but his impatience and lack of understanding of reality is mind blowing. The reason the company is not crossing the chasm into a legitimate cog in the industry is the lack of leadership and the constant turnover of anyone with new ideas. If you do not fit in the mold of what they want or their biased culture, you are marginalized and forced out the door. The reason there aren't many reviews on this company is because they keep their doors closed to anything new and the eight people that have been there from the start wrote reviews. The product is a great tool for an open industry, but the CEO and COO have absolutely no vision and an abundance of stubbornness to keep DocuPhase at a state of mediocrity.

Pros

The company makes a genuine effort to build a positive culture and incorporate fun into the workplace. There’s clear intention around team engagement, and many of the people across the organization are great to work with. I enjoyed my coworkers and felt the product itself was strong.

Cons

The marketing department is led by one of the most difficult and toxic leaders I’ve encountered. Working with her feels like constant mental gymnastics—priorities, direction, and expectations change frequently and without warning, often resulting in work being scrapped and redone multiple times. She is an extreme micromanager who inserts herself into every detail, creating a major bottleneck for the entire team. Projects stall while waiting for her input or approval, only to be reworked when she inevitably changes her mind. There is little to no openness to feedback or collaboration—only her ideas are considered valid. Communication and leadership style are major issues. Direction is often unclear, and feedback is delivered in a way that feels more punitive than constructive. It was not uncommon for team members to be yelled at in front of the group over minor mistakes, creating a tense and uncomfortable environment. Overall, it felt like leadership was not invested in setting the team up for success. The inconsistency, lack of emotional regulation, and absence of trust made it extremely difficult to do your job effectively or feel supported. If you value your mental well-being, I would strongly caution against joining the marketing team.
