    Pros

I fell in love with my job. I loved helping people find stability through employment and training. Showing them how to positively navigate the social services world to help them become fully independent has been a joy.

    Cons

This is the raggedest building I have ever worked in. Its freezing cold and they actually put plastic on the windows during the winter. Is this really a business? The floors are distinguishing and every thing is thrown together like it came from the thrift store.

    Advice to Management

You have loyal employees. Show them a little appreciation. A holiday card would be nice too.

    Pros

Great performance with assisting customers with employment opportunities

    Cons

There is no one 360 evaluations. No one to make sure management doesn't get to mistreat staff. "No one to police the police"

    Advice to Management

Pay for good talent and get

I have been working at Employment & Employer Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working at this company has burned me out in a job that I used to love. This company is all about numbers when it should always be about the quality of work that your staff preforms. The only perk one has in working with this company is the pay.

    Cons

I have been with this company 5 years and we are only now beginning to attend trainings to keep up with the ever changing market. New and current staff are all aggressive and forget that this is social services.

    Advice to Management

Stop turning a blind eye to sexual harassment and bullying from your management team.

I worked at Employment & Employer Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The salary is fairly competitive based on the national average for the services provided by this organization.

    Cons

Upper management is reluctant to share PERTINENT information with its staff until the last minute. Its as if they enjoy holding on to information to make things harder and more hectic later on. Why choose not to share information that affects the people on your front line?

    Advice to Management

Be more open, honest and transparent with your employees. It will reduce employee turnover.

I worked at Employment & Employer Services full-time

    Pros

Great place to help people. You get to meet new people and network with others in your field.

    Cons

It's all about numbers with management. It's 2012 and they manage like they did in slavery days. Too much micro-management.

    Advice to Management

Trust that employees love to help people. Stop hounding them and being on their backs for every little thing. If the office is too old to work in, find another office. It doesn't make sense that employees have to wear coats and gloves INSIDE the building in the winter time. Value the employees and stop being cheap.

    Pros

The managers are great when you need time off.

    Cons

Only raise you get is once every five years and its only 3 percent of your current salary. Or if your extremely valuable. wait to quit and when you do they would adhere to your demands

    Advice to Management

provide your staff with better raises or salary adjustments for good work. do not wait five years or for someone to quit./
