    Have a yearly sit down with each employee and get thoughts ideas about the workplace. Encourage other departments to work together and create a vision for this company.

    Pros

    Good salary, benefits, and resources to get the job done.
    Clear emphasis on safety above all else.
    Great, smart co-workers.

    Cons

    Too many "Subject Matter Experts" interfering with getting the job done.
    Frequent changes in management team.
    Too many "systems" rolled out without comprehensive planning

    Focus on the job of constructing pipelines and get out of the R&D business.

    Pros: A large energy infrastructure company across North America with lots of opportunities to work on a variety of energy assets.

    Cons

    Cons: Poor communication from atop and slow decision making processes. Roles and responsibilities are often limited to specialists, not generalists.

    Decentralize decision making authority.

    Flexible work schedule, and understanding of personal issues

    Cons

    No enterprise Support, all focused on one way of doing business , not listening

    Advice to Management

    Care more about your most valuable asset your people. Think before laying people off as to how that may impact our business in the future. Listen to the employees who have experienced things through other means.
