I have been working at Endicott College full-time

    Pros

Great atmosphere and a strong sense of community. Professors are very engaging and helpful. Also has a tremendous internship program with the ability to gain relevant job experience

    Cons

It is a smaller school that is not meant for someone looking to get the experience of a large crowd and there are a lot of adjunct professors.

    Advice to Management

All-in-All its been a great experience, advice to management would be to offer for options for students to expand their knowledge in other fields unrelated to their major,

I have been working at Endicott College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere, great employee benefits, beautiful area

    Cons

We have management that refuses to listen. They continue and sweep things under the rug, in order to avoid confrontation.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the ones around you.

I have been working at Endicott College (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent place to adjunct. Supportive Associate Dean who goes out of her way to welcome Adjuncts and make the transition as seamless as possible. Doing great things for adult students who are working to finish their degrees. Also working very hard to become a go to place for military students to finish their degrees.

    Cons

Would love the semesters to be a bit longer

I have been working at Endicott College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great colleagues, flexible coursework, ability to grow and develop academic coursework, great benefits, small and beautiful campus that is easy to navigate. While the small campus can create a bubble, there are some great students who maximize the intimacy of the campus to delve into their studies and get to know professors in order to push themselves academically.

    Cons

Administration has a short-term memory with institutional problems; "quick fixes" are usually a bandaid over larger issues (which admin does not want to tackle). More mentorship required for junior faculty. More support for faculty research necessary.

    Advice to Management

Continue to offer benefits that will attract high quality faculty and staff. Sort out parking. Phase out paper timesheets.

I worked at Endicott College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked in the Van Loan department (adult, evening, and online students) which was small. I enjoyed my team. The campus is beautiful and being an employee gets you free entrance to a lot of events at the school as well as the gym.

    Cons

The job I interviewed for was very different than the job I actually ended up doing. The Van Loan school has less resources than the day school and is generally looked down on. The staff is older so being young puts you at a disadvantage. The small staff means you do 5 jobs. I worked a lot of evenings and weekends, but that was the position. I left after three months, but on good terms. It just wasn't the job I was looking for.

    Advice to Management

Communicate clearly and follow through with the promised support.

I worked at Endicott College full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great location. Excellent educational institution.

    Cons

There are not great opportunities for advancement.

I worked at Endicott College part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked in EC Fine Arts Department for five years, with at least one class every semester. It was a great experience with intelligent, supportive and engaging colleagues. I was given the input and resources I needed to develop courses which I felt provided real value to the students. Beautiful campus.

    Cons

It would be nice if the department were bigger with a wider variety of students. A lot of them are in graphic design and interior design. Not sure how to crack that nut.

    Advice to Management

Dean and Art Department Chair are strong leaders (in all the best ways) and good people. Advice to the president of EC would be to start paying adjuncts something closer to a real salary.
