I worked at Endress+Hauser Gruppe full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great products, well known and an industry leader in their market. The global group is well managed and strategic.

    Cons

Each country is left to itself to manage, for the most part. If you are employed and working for the global team, that is where to be. The US management team is completely clueless and in over their heads. Very old school boys club and if you are not "in" with them, you are a threat.

    Advice to Management

Take a hard look at the US management. According to Control.com, in 2009 EH was ranked 18th in the US as a top 50 North American Automation Vendor. In 2015, they dropped to 26th. Contrast that to the Top 50 global ranking of Automation Vendors where in 2009 EH was 13 and in 2015 they moved up two spots to 11. Now, what's North Americas leadership excuse for the massive drop in market share and ranking?

    Pros

Privately held company - does not hire/fire based on quarterly earnings reports

    Cons

management does not believe in paying competitive salaries. All employees are lumped together regardless of technical disciplines which they have expertise in. i.e a mechanical engineer and software engineer are not differentiated.

    Advice to Management

pay atleast market rate to retain talent

    I worked at Endress+Hauser Gruppe full-time

    Pros

Company culture was great as well as the people working in the Sales Center. E+H invests in their people heavily and will help you grow into a valued employee.

    Cons

They have very aggressive growth goals that can limit your bonus income as well as stress you out at times. If you can't handle sales pressures, then I'd tell yourself to find a way to destress prior to taking a job there.

    Advice to Management

    Be more realistic.
