old fashioned leadership not open to new thinking / business opportunities. Not quick to make decisions.

I have been working at Energizer Holdings full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Clear guidelines are set to advance through the company, they are challenging but obtainable with hard work.

    Cons

Employee benefits are more expensive every year. The workplace is the pressure to overwork on employees.

I worked at Energizer Holdings full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discounted product, decent work life balance IF you have the right manager.

    Cons

Beware of those that are only in it for themselves. During my 15+ years there I witnessed many people unjustly discharged for not "drinking the "Kool Aid." If someone in upper management has a problem with you personally there is no chance for a future there. HR will pretend to listen but will never go to bat for you regardless of the circumstances.

    Advice to Management

Enforce a true open door policy. Not just something that looks good in writing , but not practiced. Recognize that regardless of the fact that someone is in a leadership position doesn't mean they won't treat their direct reports unfairly.

I worked at Energizer Holdings full-time

    Pros

    Good people to work with.

    Cons

Struggled to keep good people. Seemed like it was a revolving door.

    Advice to Management

Get a little more involved and show some appreciation to employees that are in sales offices. There is a true disconnect.

    Pros

They hold a lot of sway in the industry.

    Cons

Pretty convoluted even for a large organization - keeps efficiency down. Other than free batteries at Christmas time the perks are pretty nonexistent.
