I worked at Energy Future Holdings full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Great people, excellent benefits, work that was fulfilling!

    Cons

Little to no communication with employees. Everything is a locked down secret. It was difficult to know what the truth was because all our information came through hearsay.

    Advice to Management

Figure out a way to communicate with your employees without giving away trade secrets or market strategies. Your employees need to feel engaged and trusted.
