    Negative Outlook

I worked at Energy Future Holdings full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

A lot of hard working long term employees that knew the business of utilities

    Cons

Too many laid off employees to make a successful company. Massive revenue losses due to ignorance!

    Advice to Management

Before you hire stupid CEOs/CIOs evaluate the corporate situation and where you want to go. Maybe your tenured employees couldn't help you get there!

I worked at Energy Future Holdings full-time

    Pros

great base pay plus bonus and benefits, friendly and open office environment, need security clearance for main floor so very safe

    Cons

bad parking options, location downtown dallas in the middle of everything, should have staggered schedule to help workers with the high traffic times

    Advice to Management

do something about parking, human resources is a joke you clearly need to expand that department, interview process is silly you can't expect people to spend 6 hours interviewing when you tell them it'll be 3 - maybe that's a hint about organization

I worked at Energy Future Holdings full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

The employees are the greatest asset of this company

    Cons

Management has run this company into the ground. Lack of leadership. Too many yes men. The same as what's happened to many good companies.

    Advice to Management

Management is top heavy. Get rid of all the yes men.

    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits Willing to train for current position and management Room for advancement Professional but fun work environment

    Cons

Horrible location and parking options No tuition reimbursement Might have to wait for months before benefits enrollment Open and noisy work floor

    Advice to Management

Managment and HR need to communicate more effectively, and clearly need to hire more people. The open floor is super distracting. Parking is ridiculous.
