I have been working at Engility full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Engility is a large company and thus the teams you work in and with are the most important for your work like. Luckily my experience has been great. Challenging projects; always opportunities to learn new stuff; standard/good benefits; competitive salary.

    Cons

It's a bit chaotic when approaching the end of projects; but usually there will be other projects to work on.

    Advice to Management

The management has been great. The director and PMs care for the employees and help them whenever possible. It'd better to hold more corporate activities.

I worked at Engility full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great people work there but not many

    Cons

They don't follow processes and or procedures. They do only what the customer wants when they want it

    Advice to Management

Establish processes and procedures and follow them.

I worked at Engility full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are a few good people at the company

    Cons

Strong culture of elitism, plenty of room for bullies to thrive, low salaries, terrible benefits, no camaraderie, need I go on?

    Advice to Management

Get a clue! I saw and experienced rampant sexism, agism, and incredibly low morale during my three years at Engility, and I doubt the SAIC acquisition will improve things. The bullying is so bad that it didn't stop even after I met with HR multiple times and changed jobs within the company. I am not the only person who had this experience.

I have been working at Engility full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Att this point, unless you have no other job opportunities, Engility is not the place. Legacy TASC was the basis for Engility’s success. SAIC is not taking the TASC business unit leadership forward into the new company.

    Cons

SAIC is buying Engility for its IC contracts and SAIC leadership doesn’t care about the people at all. They made no effort to get to know any Engility employees below the VP level. CEO Dugle only cares about her pay out.

    Advice to Management

Beyond advice. The board should look hard at how Engility and SAIC are handling the transition.

I have been working at Engility full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible Schedule, work from home option

    Cons

benefits, no maternity leave for mothers. Bonuses and increases are provided with hard work

    Advice to Management

Consider being more involved with the people working under you. It is almost like the VPs forget that they were in our shoes at one time. A lot of Loyal hard workers were let go during SAIC acquistion, which is really sad.
