    Pros

    Wonderful corporate and regional support. Working for 3 former large chains enlivant doesn't just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Very good benefit package and compassion is the name of their game.

    Cons

    As typical with a growing company they are aware of their shortcomings which are few. Nothing out of the ordinary with a growing company that focuses on resident and staff values.

    Advice to Management

    Stay your course and you will exceed you're already high expectations.

    Pros

    From the first day of my interview I was welcomed with open arms exemplifying what the Enlivant culture is about, meaningful core values: Compassion, Humility, Integrity, Excellence & Fun! There is no place like Enlivant, where you can get the full package experience. Enlivant has endless learning and job advancement opportunities that will follow you throughout your career.
    With Enlivant offering you in-house training, continuing education, growing job opportunities, an up-beat energy, a rewarding work culture and an entrepreneurial atmosphere you are sure to not only impact day to day business decisions, but you will take part in enriching the lives of those you work with and the seniors we provide homes to in our vibrant communities. I’ve enjoyed every day I’ve walked into work, I’m able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing I have a family in Enlivant. I am cherished and my opinion matters - I am understood and trusted - my superiors believe in me and root for me. I praise all that have made Enlivant what it is today. If you are looking to be at a company to get your paycheck this is not the place for you. This is a family, a rewarding experience that will carry with you throughout your life.

    Cons

    Training & Onboarding including its leadership, could be a better, enhancements in this area could make a huge impact on turnover.

    Advice to Management

    Upper management, continue with recognition and showing appreciation for the others that are under your leadership. Continue to guide and lead the employees that look to you for advice and direction. Invest in the good, hardworking individuals that have invested in you.

    Pros

    I love my job as a care giver! Residents are absolutely wonderful. My company is very caring of residents and employees. Management nurses cna - we work as a team for our residents!!

    Cons

    Sometimes we're short handed, but i feel they try to keep full staff.

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Pros

    Solid industry. Just not a career company. When great ideas are not heard, the reward of excellence is negligent. There were a few that really care about and are passionate towards making a difference.

    Cons

    High turnover at all levels. I had 4 different direct managers in 4 years. Upper management was just as bad. There's a difference between leadership and titles. This company had very few leaders.

    Advice to Management

    Everything rises and falls on leadership. Leaders are also made, not born that way. Build your leaders and the company will flourish more than just having the culture that centers everything around butts in the beds.

    The management-they care about the residents and employees, Team work, Compensation and benefits, Enlivant allows their employees to do what they do best, the mission statement and core values are lived everyday. Career advancement

    Cons

    That I didn't work for Enlivant sooner in my career!

    Keep doing what you are doing. Do the right thing even when no one is watching.

    Pros

    Residents , care staff is great. Benefits are good. Allowing married couples to stay together. Building is in great shape no real issues.

    Cons

    Regional Team is not honest, no up front about potential changes. Staff grid is not realistic . No company credit card I have buy and get reimbursed

    Advice to Management

    Look at our competition, if we are going to get the right type of staff we need to meet competitions wage scale and not cut hours

    I have been working at Enlivant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Company is in growth mode, flexible hours, salaried but can earn overtime, business casual but people wear jeans most days, location, office events and vacation

    Cons

    Company culture and the culture in support center do not match up; insurance is expensive; people are overworked (I work overtime every week just to keep up); systems are old and out of date; training is not working; company is top heavy

    Advice to Management

    Do a better job of improving existing systems / upgrade, it affects our day to day
    Work life balance for all, take care of your employees and you won't have a turnover problem
    Update the internal website and include more resources / tools for employees: example, clearly define who is responsible for different aspects and how to contact them / department.
    More options for health insurance
    Training process needs to be addressed. People who aren't correctly trained are training new hires and it makes for a lot of confusion

    Cons

    Following mission, vision and values. Regionals unable to decide if they want t to micro manage or leave you hanging for weeks on end with no backup.

    Advice to Management

    Quit hiring the first person that applies to management positions.
