I have been working at Enlivant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Support all the way up to CEO! It speaks volumes when top leadership takes time to interact with employees regularly. I spent 10 years with my previous company and NEVER laid eyes on high level management who stayed behind closed doors in a separate area of the corporate office

    Cons

No different than any other issues in the industry

    Advice to Management

    Keep being visible. It matters!

    Pros

Amazing regional support. Work-life balance. Great benefits.

    Cons

The technology is way behind the times.

    Advice to Management

Could you invest in some updated systems, technology is so important.

I have been working at Enlivant full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Yes, we have processes and systems shared by most mid- to large corporations, but here's the catch: our support center has built the infrastructure and foundation to help individuals and teams succeed. If you're metrics driven, there are multiple ways to measure your success and room for growth. If you're a life-long learner, you'll love the positive and continuous coaching and training. If you seek a next-step in your career, many avenues and opportunities exist for growth. If you aspire to connect with a company who aspires to become the most trusted senior living provider and have a passion for to enrich lives, check us out. You'll be surrounded by people who live their lives with compassion, humility, integrity, excellence, and who have fun.

    Cons

We don't offer a utopian world - you won't get rich working here, but at the end of the day you'll feel like you made a difference and know someone noticed.

    Advice to Management

Continue to challenge the status quo.

I have been working at Enlivant full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Just passing my 5 yr anniversary with this company I have seen a lot of changes. Some good, some bad. Bottom line this company lives and manages by its MVV. Of course numbers are a focus because, and to those negative reviewers be honest with yourselves, if they didn't worry about numbers we would be out of a job giving us this wonderful opportunity to serve our amazing residents. Senior living is hard work. With a realistic perspective and "big picture" in mind, success is within reach at Enlivant. It takes time and sometimes starting over to build a solid community team. At a community level you will not have control over who your regionals are but as with any other company, you need to learn to work with all kinds of people. Keep the focus. Invest the time and commit to Enlivant because they are committed to you.

    Cons

The specialist positions are an amazing asset. However, more promotion/ mentoring to those positions from within would put people in those roles who've actually done the job for Enlivant. If hiring from the outside, especially from an ops standpoint, more house level onboarding would be beneficial for them.

    Advice to Management

    No advice. Enlivant proud!

I have been working at Enlivant (More than a year)

    Pros

I love the company and my position. The opportunity to serve seniors and provide quality care and services is awesome! Each community is it's own company and Enlivant allows individual teams to be creative and experiment as long as you follow policy and procedures.

    Cons

The regional teams seem non existent at times. Ed's have to be multiple positions at one time with little help from above. I think regions need to be smaller so the regional management can support their buildings more appropriately.

    Advice to Management

Hire regional chefs to help communities when they are down a cook or two or three! This is a big issue and puts Ed's in bad situations.

    Pros

None, there is nothing good I can say about this company.
