I have been working at Ennis full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Ennis is the leader in their industry. In an industry that is consolidating they are the company acquiring the businesses versus being acquired.

The large product offering makes it more likely to find products to sell to your customers benefiting the distributor customers.

Lots of locations in small towns with hard working employees.

    Cons

Ennis is in a consolidating industry where some product demand is declining. Unfortunately this has resulted in some plant consolidations as they've continued to acquire companies that may overlap capabilities in the same geographic area and right sizing of the workforce to meet this smaller demand.

With this right sizing there are now disgruntled ex-employees out there writing negative reviews in forums such as this.

    Advice to Management

Continue to manage the business taking into account the employees, customers and shareholders. Leave one of those three out and there will be trouble.

I worked at Ennis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the employees are nice, general managers are generally friendly, fairly stable job if you work in corporate office

    Cons

-Management favors men - extreme case of "boys club" to the point that the execs actually invite male employees to golf or play basketball but ignore lower level female employees
-Old school style of thinking, they don't want to change anything or make it better
-Corporate location is in the middle of nowhere so expect a long commute
-No room for advancement or promotion
-Time off is a joke, only 5 days/year for first two years
-You will work really hard for little pay or appreciation
-You will get scolded for not being at your desk at exactly 8:00AM

    Advice to Management

See cons above. Although I honestly don't think the leadership cares about any of that. It's apparent in how they interact with and treat employees.

I worked at Ennis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The position affords the opportunity to utilize one's creative talents. There are a large variety of projects to keep it interesting. The company offers good benefits

    Cons

The location is a bit remote. Pay increases were few and far between. There seemed to be a lack of concern for employees from the executives.

    Advice to Management

It would be much improved if the communication between the executives and the rest of the employees was improved upon. The disconnect is perceived as one where the employees tend to feel unappreciated.

I worked at Ennis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I loved the people there. The management was excellent and very helpful and flexible when it came to me needing to be there for my kids. If I had to leave early or come in late due to a Dr. appt, or if I had to pick my daughter up from school sick, I was able to make up my hrs. They even let me take a week off after starting so that I could take care of my daughter, and they were very helpful to my situation! I miss them!

    Cons

Cant think of any, other then I had to move so I had to quit.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

    Pros

great at scamming investors with empty shell companys

    Cons

take b&d litho of arizona. was bought by ennis in 2007.
company was doing about 12 million a year.
company in 2014 now doing about 900,000 a year.
they lost all of the customers over the years due to very bad management.
company is now an empty shell but they pretend that the place is a profit making company.
trying to keep stock prices up. most of their company's are this way.
they look good on paper but if go to each of these company's and look them over, you will see a failing model.
i feel sorry for the investors who will lose when the truth comes out and it all blows up.

    Advice to Management

cant tell scam artist anything that they don't already know.
