I worked at Enphase Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Profitability improved significantly after new management took office in 2017. Long term growth plan approved by market. Good products to support long term growth.

    Cons

headquarter move from Petaluma to Santa Clara made a lot of valuable employees to leave. It is not clear how much the impact would be.

    Advice to Management

Keep key employees and build a strong team.

I worked at Enphase Energy full-time

    Pros

none, I would say helping the environment, but it's at a cost of your soul and happiness.

    Cons

Management is clueless. They gutted almost all of their headquarters in Petaluma. Anyone with half a brain has left. This is like an episode of silicon valley. They are emotionally bankrupt.

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourselves.

I have been working at Enphase Energy full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Located in Petaluma, great town.

    Cons

No transparency from management on direction, goals and the future. What they do, is not what they say. Also, no focus on a 3 year or 5 year plan. BOD clearly own the CEO who is not liked by employees outside his circle. They are eliminating Petaluma jobs in favor of the same positions in India.

    Advice to Management

Great job at destroying a bright technical future for 500+ people.

I worked at Enphase Energy full-time

    Pros

Good industry, nice to work in greentech in Petaluma

    Cons

The company lost focus, made some bad decisions and moved to slowly when the market shifted - now they are struggling to keep pace and risks becoming entirely irrelevant

    Advice to Management

Focus on the core product and try to regain ground in the tech/cost battle, or give up the battle and try to monetize your current position via licensing/acquisition/liquidation

I have been working at Enphase Energy for more than a year

    Pros

Petaluma weather is nice in the summer. The facility is nice enough and the company provides free tea and coffee.

    Cons

This company has failed to successfully navigate through a large growth spurt and is now experiencing death throes. Bad behaviors abound and are rewarded - incompetence, obstruction, lies, disrespect, ill-defined roles and responsibilities, broken teams and bullying. Not an ounce of managerial courage at the VP level. Total disfunction and the stock price is starting to reflect it.

    Advice to Management

To Paul - most of your VPs need to be replaced by people who know how to lead highly functioning organizations. PM needs to be heavily pruned. PLM - replace with professionals.

I worked at Enphase Energy full-time

    Pros

For being located in Petaluma, it has a surprising Silicon Valley Start-Up feel, Great, hard working people, beautiful, open, modern, and sustainable office (has charging stations for hybrids and solar panels on the roof) , and warm and welcoming office culture. I worked in the Recruiting/HR department and I am truly grateful to my former department for supporting me and going above and beyond to advocate for me. The...

    Pros

the company is fast growing, you can see many potential here, and the salary is good for the location of Petaluma

    Cons

Not like many bay area company that supply snack and fruit. The only free thing they supply is just cheap coke and coffee even no healthy juice like V8.
