I worked at Entergy Mississippi as an intern

    Pros

Friendly and engaging environment to work for. Concerned about how you are enjoying your job. Great place to further your career and will help on further education.

    Cons

Tasks could be a little more challenging. Long days in the office could drive you crazy. Interns need more responsibility

    Advice to Management

Personally, the interns need to be working more closely with the supervisors and mentors. More responsibilities need be given to the interns.

    Pros

Great training and most supervisors are great to work for.
They take great care of full time employees during storms when overtime is required.

    Cons

Not understanding of medical issues and will not make effort to work with you on them.
Insurance they provide is sub par at best and very expensive.
Do not get a pay raise when you've been trained for additional skills and are doing more work.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the people lower than supervisor.
Instead of firing people because a supervisor can't budget, start with a paycut to them instead of taking it out on the people that actually do their job.
