I worked at Enterprise part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing management. My supervisor and boss were so down to earth. Helped me if I had any issues and we're very professional.

    Cons

The pay isn't the greatest, especially considering all you have to do.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees to more out of office functions to build a relationship.

    Pros

    Teaches good work ethic
    Young culture
Other companies respect people who come from Enterprise

    Cons

This maybe the most unethical company I have ever worked for. The amount of shady deals done and prejudice I saw at my branch was unsettling. Management does not care about you, they want you to make your numbers so they can get promoted. Also you have no work life balance, and God forbid you work at the airport, you might as well kiss your social life goodbye, along with your holidays with family. Pay also sucks for the hours you are working.

    Advice to Management

Please avoid promoting so quickly, just because people can sell does not mean they can manage people. There needs to be more requirements prior to making someone an assistant manager.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Opportunity for growth.
    Pay is fairly well.

    Cons

Work life balance can be a challenge especially at the airport.
Sales are a must in order to keep management off of your back..

    Advice to Management

Start an effective and a decent time of training for all employees.

    Pros

You will learn a ton about business, marketing, sales, logistics and management! Overall the job is fun. You get to work with people in their 20s and 30s who work the same crazy hours and for the most part like having fun. Job assessment is pretty good and management is good about being clear regarding what you need to change/improve etc. Benefits are great

    Cons

Pay sucks. Good benefits help offset it a little but it still sucks. Can take awhile to move up so you'll be poor for awhile. Hours are really long which can make job searching interesting

    Advice to Management

Spend some money on your employees. $32K/year is not a liveable wage if you have to spend 50+ hours a week in a suit.

    Pros

If you can't find a better paying job doing something else coming out of college. If you did not get a degree in business or goofed off in college then this is the place for you. The average employee is a good hard working person trying to make a better life for themselves or their family. It will eventually help open doors to other opprotunites in the world, but they are all mainly in sales management/customer service orientation. If you likr to work at least 55 hours a week this is def. the job you want to apply for. Though, using a company car as a manager is a decent perk.

    Cons

Total lack of life outside of work.

    Advice to Management

Consolidate the number of stores and allow employees to work rotating shifts to maximize time open and still give employees the chance at a normal life.
