I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay directly out of school (including overtime which WILL happen every week), and gives you the business experience that other companies want but won't give you.

    Cons

55 hours a week on your feet, cleaning FILTHY cars, 12 hour long days, customers will always be ungrateful for your help and you will learn how to turn people away very quickly because there are countless people that don't qualify for rentals or don't have $50 to their name.

    Advice to Management

Be MUCH more transparent with new hires regarding the number of hours they will work, and the TYPES of hours they will work. Trainee salary is based on a 49 hour work week, and I never worked 49 hours. The range for my work week was anywhere from 54-61 hours.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They accept a great deal of college graduates. It was my first job fresh out of college. Also, some of the perks for good performance, free lunches, spa days, paid days off, were a big plus.

    Cons

The matrix that pits you against other trainees seems like a good idea except quite a few people cheat their way to the top or manipulate the system.

    Advice to Management

Restructure the matrix and pay management trainees a better living wage that is worthy of a degreed professional.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time

    Pros

The MT program is hard-work but I learned more about sales, customer service and multi-tasking than any of my college classes. I was able to reach my goals and get promoted within the first six months and then received my next promotion four months later.

    Cons

The MT position is hard, you will get yelled at by customers, wash cars and drive around a lot. Although I met some amazing people with the company that all have gone through this same program so it is really a bonding experience!

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide opportunities to move up!

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good Health Insurance. Besides that, there is nothing else to make this place worth your while except that it's a good springboard. You're earning money while you look for better opportunities

    Cons

Long hours. Low chances for growth/progression. Overworked & Underpaid

    Advice to Management

Pay your lower cadre staff more.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time

    Pros

Mostly good people, if you can deal with a few bad apples who only care about results, then you can have a successful career at Enterprise.

    Cons

If you don't produce, you will get pushed out. As an MT, the pay is not worth the hours or the idiocy from customers, accounts, and branch and area/regional management.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting employees who only know how to sell to management. You are setting these employees up to fail because most don't know how to run a branch, and the training they receive from most branch and area management is only geared towards sales or esqi.
