I have been working at Enterprise part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is perfect for those recovering from a health condition, caretakers, students, retirees etc. The schedule is very flexible and getting paid to visit beautiful locations is invaluable.

    Cons

The pay is low, you have to wait for people when you shuttle or not to get gas, solve an issue at a branch but sometimes they just want to take a super long lunch break and know you must wait.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for hiring Patrick Potvin, he is a saint. Also, thank you for keeping customer service as a top priority.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great promotion opportunities and management development.

    Cons

Long hours, starting pay, lack of commission on contract sales, and strict dressing policy.

    Advice to Management

Higher wages for entry level college graduates. The workload that is required and the standard to which each employee is held to should reflect in higher pay or bonus structure. Also dress policy should be lightened.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

On-going training, career development, support from upper management, and a team player environment. It's a huge company, so there's good medical benefits, 401k with company match & profit sharing. I've learned a lot working there for 12 years. I've met a lot of great people! My experiences at enterprise has helped prepare me for future career advancement.

    Cons

Higher pay, more vacation days, more holidays, guilt free PTO day off, more staff in certain divisions, and less strict dress code. If the company changes all of these things I would have retired there.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide on-going training to employees & support when needed. Offer competitive salaries for similar positions in the industry. Take care of your employees better so that the good ones stay.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great sales training
Excellent company culture (happy hours, lunches, team events and parties)
Pretty Secure Job (if your sales are above average)
    Good starter sales position

    Cons

Long hours (60 hours a week)
Standing for most of the day (especially at the airport branches)
Have to wear a suit every day (no matter how hot it is outside)
Can only wear a white shirt every day (with limited exceptions and no matter how easily sweat stained they are)
Have to be clean shaven, no beards except a moustache
    Customers can be mean
NO COMMISSION no matter how much you sell
    No Life

    Advice to Management

Reduce hours to 40 hours a week and pay your employees the same. People have lives outside of work and this sort of schedule gives you no time to even think clearly.
