I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Teaches you the four core areas of business, good resume buffer, shows furure employees that you work extremely hard and can run a small business.

    Cons

Short staffed, long hours, low pay compared to work load. Once you move from hourly to salary there is no consideration to how many hours you work weekly.

    Advice to Management

There should most definitely be mor staff hired in home city branches to help with branch tasks, because of low staff management employees are juggling to many tasks at once, which makes it difficult to achieve customer service score which is demanded at each branch. There was times I was the only one in branch and had to check customers in answer phones and prepare cars for customers, which caused customers wait times to be long and bad service reviews, if I would of had the necessary staff CS goals would of been much easier to achieve.

    Cons

Please see pros above...it says it all

Genuinely mentor staff and offer long term incentives that will lead to retention

    Great resume builder
    Customer service/sales experience

    Cons

Hours - unbearable especially if you have satellites
Is basically a retail job that you should have done in college
Will tell you what's unethical and then force you to do it
    Unqualified management due to favoritism
Unclear regarding pay (similar to the way we sell our customers)
Forces you to come in during inclement weather and pick up customers despite dangerous driving conditions
    Very political
So many mixed messages sent from management that you will be utterly confused on what proper practices are

    Advice to Management

    Put your employees first again.
    Practice what you preach

    Pros

Give you an opportunity out of college
Really teaches you how to sell
be with co-workers so much you become family

    Cons

    Most weeks hit 60+ hours
Trainees make ALL the money for the company and get over worked and under paid
    A lot of politics
Everything comes down to the bottom dollar, even if it compromises your health or companies integrity

    Advice to Management

Turn over rate is going to remain high if y'all do not figure out work life balance

I worked at Enterprise as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a huge company and very successful, and it seems to be a pretty good resume builder.

    Cons

Pay is terrible, hours and schedules are terrible because I had to work 7 days a week just about every other week. There is some upside there and money to be made, but only if you plan for sticking around and pinching pennies for 10+ years

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-lots of young co-workers, most college grads
-can be fun with a good team at your branch

    Cons

-many hires have never had a serious job before this one so some of your new co-workers may not stay long... or may be constantly whining
-no work life balance, usually at work around 7am to 630pm
-it is a lot harder than it seems, I believe I have seen every female coworker of mine cry at one time or another because of the customer abusing them
-young people means there will generally be drama in your branch
-i had 3 different branch managers during my time here and if your branch manager is bad, every hour you spend here will be unbearable

    Advice to Management

enterprise only hires from within which is very smart but if you want to hold on to your good people, quite simply pay them more. The amount of time these workers put in at the company is NOT reflected by the paychecks

    I worked at Enterprise full-time

    Pros

Learned lots of different ways to interact with customers and offer the best customer service. Co-workers were always amazing to work with.

    Cons

Very low pay and no upper movement unless you go through management trainee program. Different states do things totally different when it comes to career paths and truly wanting the best for each employee and their growth expectations.
