    Pros

I have been with Enterprise Holdings for 7+ years now. I can't say enough about how great of a company Enterprise is to be a part of. I am currently an Area Manager and just like everybody else in the company started my career as a Management Trainee. The MT program is an all inclusive program that gives you the tools needed every step of the way to learn the business. The company truly promotes on success. The company truly has an employees first mindset. Our mission statement states that if we take care of our employees and customers then profits will follow and we see that with every action throughout my career. Once you become a manager you have a fantastic ability to increase your own paycheck by being successful. I recently was able to achieve a promotion where the company paid on their own expense to move me and my family across the country.

    Cons

The most common complaints we hear initially are the long work weeks. It is a change to be on a 49 hour work week from day 1 but with everything you do throughout the day a 49 hour week goes much quicker than a 40 hour work week at most other jobs. You truly get out what you put in!

    Advice to Management

Your ability to build your pay plan and truly make an impact in customers and employees as you move up through the company is an amazing opportunity!

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Meet some cool people
    Company perks
    Polish your driving skills
    No cell phone policy

    Cons

No work life balance. Working from 7am to almost 7 pm is taxing.
Always seems to be short staffed
Everything is based on numbers, which causes people to do unethical things to meet the unrealistic goals.
    Unethical people get promoted
If management in your area is bad, you get stuck and will never get promoted
Company is almost cult like. You can't say anything against enterprise.
Washing cars by hand in dress clothes
    Strict dress code

    Advice to Management

Stop making people work 11-12 hours a day
Stop making everything about sales goals. Different people have strengths
Loosen up the dress code. It's 2017. I shouldn't have to take out my tiny nose stud because the dress code is stuck in the 50s
Offer different avenues of work to people who aren't interested in sales. Fix the New York Group. Enterprises outside of NY seem to have better cars, amenities and An overall better system

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good insurance, great management training program.

    Cons

Long hours, management treats workers like school children, discriminatory practices regarding women in management. Not worth staying longer than MT status.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, care more about the way you treat your employees and they will treat your customers they way you want.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I'll give 2 stars just cause it is a job. Couple of great people I've worked with to bad they wised up and found better companies to work for.

    Cons

Low pay for a physical labor job. Dealing with the weather and changing temperature. No raises. Seems when you get into your groove to bust out cars ,you'll get pulled to pick up or take back a customer, then before you get out of the car they need 3 cars ready now. Hard to clean a car when you're on the road. If you come in with a great work ethic well be prepared to be used up and get absolutely nothing in return. Watch the branch grow and a few advance , and i mean a few I would guess over 80 percent of people I worked for are no longer with this company, yet you're workload increases but you are stuck just barely above the poverty line. Keep your dignity you can get paid more at Target working cash register.

    Advice to Management

You throw out these statements like "no employee left behind" which you know is bogus. All advertisements have people in suits picking people up but instead they have a sweaty car washer going to pick people up cause it is ALWAYS understaffed. How can labor cost be high when all offices are understaffed?Just cause someone has a job doing the lowest and dirtiest deeds doesn't mean they don't deserve more money. Company needs to change cause people in the company are changing, by finding other work. I've wasted 4 good years of my life going above and beyond to help a branch grow
