    Pros

Money if you don't have a job. Decent experience at running a small office. Somewhat decent experience at relationship building.

    Cons

Horrible pay for the hours worked. Rapid burnout because the job, hours and daily activity never change. The company talks a lot about work/life balance but does not provide this at all. Time off is very difficult to get. First year vacation is only 7 days.

    Advice to Management

Why is renting cars a 55 hour/week job??? The management need to treat employees better and stop taking themselves so seriously. If you talk about work/life balance - mean it! I've found that the companies that have to bring up work/life balance in the interview dont ever really give it.

    Pros

You will work with people your age and you will make friends outside of work.

You will get to drive fun cars sometimes

A few of your customers will appreciate the job you do and will be a pleasure to work for.

    Cons

You will have gone to college and will be cleaning cars.

The only way to get promoted is to sell insurance. The only way to sell insurance is to lie about it.

Horribly long hours at dingy locations.

Deaing with abusive customers and uncaring managers.

Hard to take time off and what you get is next to nothing.

    Salary is awful.

    Advice to Management

Quit. You'll be happier with a new career. Trust me on this one. Also, no one takes anyone more seriously when they're wearing a tie. They're still renting cars for a living.

    Cons

not enough cars .. they throw u in the ocean with sharks .. tell u to SELL SELL SELL DW/PAI and act like thats all its about .. thought it was about providing a service but its really about hitting customers in need over the head to generate the highest income per car average..

    Advice to Management

THEY KNOW WHAT how crappy it is

    Pros

    Great co-workers
It's better than being jobless, barely

    Cons

Low pay for all the work they want you to do
Poor Management resulting in low morale
    Lousy benefits
No care or concern for employees

    Advice to Management

Stopped wasting money on constantly hiring and training new college kids who you just burn up and spit out! Reinvest that money in retaining current staff. You have good talented employees who you act like you don't care about who are leaving after years of employment. Considering our current economic climate, it is pretty telling when people are leaving when there aren't really other jobs.

    Stability
    Looks good on a resume
will teach you to be a better person
you learn a lot about dealing with Irate customers

    Cons

Customers take frustration out on you because management often hides behind the frontline personell.
If you don't sell you have no shot at a promotion
Be prepared to lie to accounts and customers
You will never be out of cars, no matter how many reservations you have, or how few cars you actually have, you will be required to keep booking reservations and then you will be expected to lie to the customers about why you dont have the car you just told them you had.
No work life balance. 12 hour days at least 5 days a week.

    Advice to Management

remember the core values, and stop lying to accounts and customers.

    Pros

ERAC is a good stepping stone to have on your resume. Sorry can't think of any more pros than that.

    Cons

    - horrible pay $11.33/hour
    - no work life balance. Be prepared to lose your social life.
    - employee turnover is super high. People drop like flies here.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking advantage of your employees. Give employees breaks which are required by law (ie 15 breaks). Stop lying to employees about promotions that will never happen

    Pros

Enterprise provides great sales and marketing experience and can be great work experience to put on a resume. ERAC employees are often recruited by other companies.

    Cons

Upper management at Enterprise is horrific and incompetent. Although they tell employees that there is room for advancement there is very little. Hours are horrendous.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your employees and support them more in the way of work life balance. Do not run your employees into the ground.

They recruit out college graduates with little career experience.

    Cons

Run you in to the ground, don't allow for time off during holidays.

    My schedule M 6:45a - 6:30p, T-F 7:00a-6:15p, every other Sat 8:45a-2:15p
No life outside of work, they expect you to eat, sleep and breath ERAC.

    Advice to Management

Stop the politics and give people a fair chance.

    Pros

Looks good on a resume and really that is all.. I guess it can also make every other job out there look amazing.

    Cons

There is nothing good about this company... Long hours..little pay..no respect from above.. Simply not worth the time and effort you put in.

    Advice to Management

Please change they way you treat your employees.. This is just one huge pyramid scheme where the lower end gets nothing.
