My direct leadership is wonderful and from working with the branches closely I feel the Area Managers, Regional Rental Managers & above are very supportive to your career growth as well.

    Pros

-Every employee is involved in almost all aspects of the business.
    -Management is attentive
-Promotions are based purely on performance, NOT seniority.

    Cons

    -Pay not high
    -50h/week
-You have to wash cars every once in awhile
-You deal with a lot of unhappy people (this turns into a pro when you're able to turn their day around.. :)

    Advice to Management

Maybe have some sort of shift schedule or optional shorter work schedule. I know it's convenient to have all employees work all of the open hours, but I think having the option of a more flexible 35-40hr workweek for full time employees would draw more applicants.

    Advice to Management

Keep making it fun! Continue to give feedback to help make the employees even better at their jobs. And Holiday parties are fun, too!

    Pros

If you believe that worth while things don't come easy and you have a good attitude, you'll suceed at Enterprise. The people that you work with are young energetic people that work well both as a team and individually. They're also very competitive and aren't affraid to see their performance stacked up with their peers. You work hard, but at the end of the day when you look back, you realize that it was fun.

    Cons

It doesn't sound as glamorours to people unfamilar with how successful the company and it's people are. People develop at different paces and sometimes others can be promoted faster then others.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on hiring people that have a strong work ethic and a possitibe attitude. Promoting from within has always been one of the company's best practices; stay with it.

    Pros

Great opportunity for advancement and pay. Not too many careers can balance fun, financial rewards and personal pride/success like Enterprise. No better coworkers anywhere. Great support network of managers that truly understands because they've "been there, done that!"

    Cons

Hard work. Definitely not a desk job! You must like working with people to succeed.

    Advice to Management

Remember that customer & employees are king! Solid job balancing customers, employees, and profits, but make sure to look at the intangibles too!
