I have been working at Enterprise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a challenging and fulfilling company to work for. Employee satisfaction is a priority of Enterprise.

    Cons

I didn't plan to go into sales, but so can't see myself leaving Enterprise. Plus, there are other positions I can apply for within this company I call family.

    Advice to Management

I've got nothing to say yet but when I do I'll be addressing my supervisor. Enterprise is always looking to improve.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Solid training that will last into future careers. I never realized how good the training was until I left. Work with Great people that will be life long friends.

    Cons

Long hours and a micromanagement culture. The company has changed a lot over the years. You used to be able to manage an office with freedom to use you skills and talents. Corporatitis has creeped in and there is no room for a personal touch anymore

    Advice to Management

You hired people for their brains and talents. Let them use them The overall culture has changed to a point that good people will leave as opportunities of the past just dont exist anymore

    Pros

Great team environment, competition was well defined and challenging versus other branches/employees.

    Cons

Long hours. Upper Management had unrealistic expectations and did not offer support to overcome obstacles. Pay was not equivalent with work.

    Advice to Management

Hire the correct amount of people to fulfill the expectations you are asking of your managers and staff.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People you work with are awesome....very helpful and fun to be at work with all day. Lots of chances to either get training/advice or to give it. Once you're there for longer than a year, benefits and vacation time really kick in. Quarterly meetings are held at fun places and paid for by the managers....nice to help improve moral.

    Cons

Long long hours (I worked anywhere from 45-60 hours a week 5-7 days a week), customers and accounts can be very demanding and taxing on you mentally, upper management seems to have a specific type of person they like to promote so if you're not one of them then good luck trying to advance

    Advice to Management

Be careful who you are promoting.....since I left the company, many people who were promoted over me have left also or haven't done very well at that position. Also, hire some more people....I know that you are picky with the people you bring on, but every office I've been to has been understaffed and that takes a huge toll on your employees.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

A family owned company that sticks to their Founding Values.
Promotions are based on how well you perform with sales, intangible skills and overall leadership ability.
A fun place to work with that is highly rewarding both financially and when seeing your team succeed.

    Cons

Not a place to work if you can't handle more than a 40 hour work week, the first year is especially challenging if you can't see the "big picture".

    Advice to Management

Continue to promote based on performance numbers and internal references.
