Pros
Entersekt is a well established as a global player, poised for rapid growth in the relatively 'new' US market. The culture is great, and there is plenty of opportunity to take initiative and grow, personally and professionally. Entersekt listens to their employees and doesn't micromanage workers. The ability to travel to multiple global offices and engage face-to-face with your regional counterparts is a huge plus.
Cons
Not a large corporate environment. If you're looking for a "I put in my 40 hours, clock-in/clock-out" you will not be at ease. However, if you're looking to make a real impact and ready to roll your sleeves up, it's a great place to work.

Pros
Cool corporate culture at Headquarters in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Great coffee bar, at no cost. Start-up environment. Great opportunity for advancement or lateral movement as the business grows. Everyone gets a seat at the table and open discussions.
Cons
US market target was not ready to address security problems with simple, sound solutions. Prospects wanted more complex solutions than what is needed to solve security issues and achieve business outcomes.

Pros
Lots of leading edge technology to learn. Lots of good standards in place. Interesting work, difficult to get bored.
Cons
Lack of senior software engineers, so bad standards did slip in occassionally. Some teams lacked resources. Unreasonable deadlines most of the time. Few teams had inexperienced leads running the show.

Pros
The friends I made, thats it.
Cons
Everything, no proper training, very toxic environment. This role is not technical at all, you learn nothing here other than how people value their ego's. I got threaten with HR twice since resigning for being apart of a meeting I was apart of only for them to pretend it never happened. Man, this will truly go down as the worst experience of my career. I would sit speachless most of the time, couldnt believe what I was seeing and hearing. The type of management you get is very inconsistent, mood based. There is alot they can change to make things easier, however they choose the hard way because it makes them look smarter. I can guarantee that not one engineer there can explain what a simple TCP handshake is..... yes, that bad. Spoke to the people person "kinda HR" and from her response I could tell this culture runs deep so told her to leave it. There is so much I can say, but will leave with this, Customer Obsession is something they no nothing about. They litrally bad mouth their clients daily

Pros
The camaraderie in the office between teams are amazing. Everyone is willing to contribute and assist to get a job done. There is so much to learn and nobody shy's away from an opportunity to teach or even to learn. Management are willing to ensure that staff are happy and suitably equipped for career growth but also to ensure the overall wellness of staff.
Cons
I have not encountered any, if I were forced to give an answer it would be to increase team capacities which I know is an ongoing journey. This would help alleviate some time pressures that may be experienced from time to time
