        Pros

        - Great co-workers and very intelligible also - Ability to work from home is a bonus - Company is growing and seeing all the process changes is amazing, and the companies drive to be better - Being allowed to make up for time taken off is a plus - Work life balance has significantly improved over the past year and this is due to the hard work done by everyone in the past to get Envisage where it is now. - Good career growth and development as you get to work and experience the retirement industry hands-on based on just the company structure and culture

        Cons

        - compensation could/should be better - having to use hard earned vacation time for the MAJOR holidays is a drawback, even clients take these days off - Health benefits really on the expensive side especially for employers with family - No well-defined/followed structure to determine career growth within company, but highly hopeful of this changing in the future

          Pros

Work from home, fair amount of collaboration with coworkers, if coworkers are not under a deadline. Movement away from layers of "is it done yet" to education and coaching are happening, slowly. The company is growing and a lot of work is being done to keep that trajectory going.

          Cons

The benefits and pay structure of the corporate owner are not extended to the employees so as to create income for new projects. The fear of past lean times drives all leadership team actions. You hear about it repeatedly. Career growth and direction vary from individual to individual. To much dependance on what coworkers will provide when they have the time and energy in the area of training. Benefits have improved with the addition of holidays, but health insurances are very expensive, sick time very low. There is high turnover.

            Pros

The people here are generally the best you will ever meet. Most are very willing to lend a hand when needed in just about any way possible. Also there is generally a sense of great friendship and loyalty to each other. This is something that I h ave not witnessed in any other place I have worked before.

            Cons

Leadership has been very shaky for the past couple of years and some decisions have left many people questioning if it is time to move on or if the Company will even be around in the near future. This is also mainly due to the corporate buyout and subsequent takeover of the former client and now parent company. That alone has contributed to most of the churn and turmoil that the company has been witnessing.

              Pros

Ability to work from home. Flex hours. Satisfactory pay and benefits. Some really great people. A lot of knowledge from which to learn. Interesting projects. Interesting software design and architecture. Several offices in the region from which to work.

              Cons

No opportunity for advancement. No benefit to working hard and long hours vs those who did not. Was once a great place to work. The company was bought out by a former client and things went downhill for employees. Poor business decisions led to loss of sales which led to several rounds of layoffs. It's not a safe place to work right now.

                Cons

In spite of the Smart, intelligent people and the discussions about promoting the ability to be creative, it is not really available to a great extent. Too much waste due to the lack of a crisp organizational structure and redundancy in some efforts. Management does not move quickly, obviously not aligned. Top leadership is slow to bring leadership to conclusions and implementation of change.

                  Pros

People are good and friendly. Lots of work to do and lots of flexibility when it comes to work location. Free snacks.

                  Cons

Insurance costs are comically expensive. No 401K match. Doesn't this company work in retirement software? Standard PTO. Pay is comparable for the area, which means you will earn a lot more else where. As someone else mentioned - sink or swim when it comes to figuring out and succeeding at your job.

Thank you for your review. We are excited to announce a matching 401K program effective January 1, 2015! Envisage will match 100% of contributions up to 4% with immediate vesting. We are so happy to finally contribute to our Team Members retirement plans!

                    Pros

Very intelligent group of people with lots of ambition. Flexible time - which makes it very nice for work/home life balance Very fast past so you're never bored

                    Cons

Lack of organization leaves you with the feeling of not knowing what your career growth is or could be. Benefits need to be better. Working for a company that promotes retirement I would expect us to have a better retirement plan. Working everyday seeing the benefits that other employers offer makes it hard to be content with not being offered a match or employer benefit.

                      Pros

This organization truly functions like one large family. Leadership is open and honest. They value employees as individuals. Provides a very flexible approach to unexpected time off. Unlimited opportunities to jump in wherever you have a desire to help.

                      Cons

Minimal benefits (Insurance is VERY expensive, only 14 days PTO with NO HOLIDAYS - not even Christmas or New Years) Limited guidance, you must be a self starter Communication is not efficient from leadership to the rest of the company, many messengers and they don't seem to all have the same message.

Thank you for your review! However there is one correction - we offer 19.5 days of PTO, which is comparable to 2 weeks vacation, 7 standard Holidays and 2.5 sick or personal days. We believe in offering people the option of which Holidays they wish to celebrate, and we never require our team members to work Holidays.

                        Pros

Basically your own boss, can work from home, semi-laid back atmosphere (depending on what project you're on), really great people, fast growing, rarely boring

                        Cons

Very long work hours (depending on what project you're on), bad benefits (no 401 matching, little in the way of time off compared to other companies, expensive insurance), little guidance from peers, it's kind of sink or swim, doesn't seem like very competitive salaries

Got booted from my former position about 4 years ago, which I LOVED. I have the impression I was "kept" in sympathy. Now that I have my feet beneath me, I feel like I'm running in place. Over the past 2 years, I've probably applied for about 100 positions in other departments. True, a few were unlikely moonshots, but for the most part I didn't misrepresent myself. Am I the world's worst interviewer? Otherwise.. shouldn't I have been accepted elsewhere, by choice?

                      Administrative Assistant

I haven't worked since Jan. 2020 when my job as administrative assistant for the Hospitalist group was eliminated. I can't begin to count the number of applications submitted, interviews I've had, jobs that I was told were mine then they weren't, etc. Several jobs have fallen through or not panned out. I am not a job hopper and want to stay where I go. I have a zoom interview tomorrow for a front desk receptionist position at an oral surgeon's office. Any interview tips are appreciated.
