I have been working at Epic Theatres part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Practice with a wide variety of social skills and basic techniques for future employment opportunities. Great sense of community between the employees.

    Cons

Customer service is not a stressed technique through the workplace and could use some work in better communication and teamwork skills.

    Advice to Management

Have a better sense for the customers' perspective as well as the employees'. Finding effective ways to create a clear line of communication. The customer experience must be positive and simple, improving the flow of efficient synergy in the workplace.

I have been working at Epic Theatres part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working in concessions was really fun, and always kept me busy. Making popcorn and helping customers passed the time

    Cons

Management was not great compared to other places I worked. They were mostly idiots who lived in their own little world.

    Advice to Management

Go run a McDonald's where bad management is expected and leave epic theaters to teenagers who in most cases are smarter than you guys.

You meet lots of cool people
Pretty relaxed environment during the week

    Cons

    Minimum wage

Don't bother requesting time off because it will not be granted

Poor training and you will get blamed for mistakes even though you were never given proper instruction

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with a little more respect and work with us to make this a place that we enjoy working at rather than counting down the hours until our shifts are over. Also stop being so wayward on your rules, saying one thing and then changing your mind later.

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere and mostly a great place to work. Co-workers and management are friendly bunch of people. Loved it while I was there!

    Cons

There are some communication breakdowns from corporate to management and to staff. More standard procedures should be implemented when dealing with customer complaints.

    Advice to Management

The members of corporate are sometimes unfriendly and talk down to their employees. Make it clear what is expected and don't stray from your "policy."
