I have been working at Epl full-time

    Pros

    - Nice people
    - Open minded

    Cons

The company wants to change, but it cannot. The employees work very hard to make little progress. This company is probably going under soon. Customers are angry and the products are not very good. I would not recommend working here.

    Pros

    Cons

Very cliquish; management seems to add extra duties and job titles without any recognition or salary incentive.

    Pros

The people makes it a great place to work! There is hope and excitement for new growth with the integration of new global company - DedaGroup.

    Cons

Company had limited resources in the past but with the integration of DedaGroup, a global software leader, it will grow to its fullest potential.

    Advice to Management

Stay focused on the people and you will succeed.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Epl full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The employees are good people to work with

    Cons

The CEO has no vision and no clue about technology, benefits kept getting worse. People were not allowed to take vacation at one point, several pay cuts. Benefits have gotten terrible, CEO puts his people on the wrong position. Every year there is a change of upper management. It's like the CEO is flipping the dice to see what works but never does and employees keep leaving or laid off.

    Advice to Management

It's time for a new CEO that is familiar with technology and as a technical vision not sales.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Epl full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice rest rooms. Cheap soda (25 cents a can)

    Cons

New employees are asked to take paycuts, routinely, after they have been on board 3 months. No one has had a raise in 7 years. CEO has more than one paid gig and I don't know how EPL could be getting his best efforts.

    Advice to Management

Walk the talk. Lead by GOOD Example. Teach three things you know to other people every day. Learn one thing you do not know every day.

I worked at Epl full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work flexibility, only thing that keeping employees with the company.

    Cons

CEO has no vision, sales oriented and no idea about what is going on the technology side and completely ignores it even though the product and its technology is the bread and butter for the company. Management has to realize that no matter how good is sales guy and no matter how big is the sales team, if the product is not good it's hard to sell the product.

One more biggest draw back is people thrive by just being close to higher management, as a result number of wrong people at wrong positions (most shocking to see people in some positions, didn't knew how they got there ) and in the process easily ignores the hardworking crew. If you are close to higher management, you can get away with any thing and don't have to work so much.

HR team is horrible, and benefits are a disaster.

    Advice to Management

Invest in technology and make the product competitive, sales will get better. Stop favoring people and just go by their worth and talent. Change in management is required otherwise company will not survive for much longer time.

    Pros

Good working environment. Good salary. Co-workers are easy to get along with. Good work ethic. Family environment.

    Cons

Keep having to lay people off.

    Advice to Management

I just wish they could get their ducks in a row as far as injecting capital into the company so they don't have to keep reducing salaries and laying people off. Otherwise, it was an awesome place to work.

    Pros

Good place to work if you like working at heights and meeting deadlines
Okay pay and leadership is good
    Room to advance

    Cons

The shifts are not very good as they have weekend day shifts and weekend night shifts which are 12 hours so if you don't like weekends that could be a pro
