I worked at Epsilon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Broad range of marketing services to be engaged with, for the time you are there

    Cons

They cannot pull it together fast enough. All the units are independent and not cooperative. Management cost cutting is a priority, with many jobs moving to India. At the same time, management, unable to integrate synergies, manages quarter to quarter. So if you work here, just be prepared to play the game. If your position does not show promise, leave -- or they will eliminate you.

    Advice to Management

Get out of quarter to quarter vicious cycle. Nothing but a formula for attrition. Too bad.

I worked at Epsilon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Somewhat generous vacation policy. Although they don't give you time off for Columbus Day/MLK day etc. So it evens out to about the same. Great dental plan. It actually covers root canals. Casual dress.

    Cons

Too many to list here. This is a horrible, awful company. I was bullied and harassed by management to force me out. It rewards mediocrity. They don't care if you perform well. They are also shipping all the tech jobs to India so I wouldn't plan on staying long. There technical service are terrible as well. I would not feel comfortable having my campaigns deploy from this company. They are constantly breaking down. There are some people who manage to get promoted and raises even after making horrendous mistakes. HR is a joke. They will do nothing to help you when you are being bullied by your manager.

    Advice to Management

Way too top heavy. Listen to the employees who do the work.

I have been working at Epsilon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People, benefits, flexibility, access to clients, lunch once a month and nice pens. Good internal pr for employees and charitable opportunities to give back.

    Cons

Too much time wasted on politics and covering people off internally as opposed to working with clients on solutions. i think the company needs to evaluate the happiness factor. Some days its like a library there with no energy.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiding and filling out forms. Start engaging and having real conversations. Email is not a substitute for a conversation. People still like to engage with each other. Try it, its good.

I worked at Epsilon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of one positive experience

    Cons

The company culture; the people there are very egotistical and act like they know everything. Everyone, even people you don't report too likes to tell you how your doing. They are back stabbers.

    Advice to Management

Get it together and stop handing out VP titles to everyone instead of paying them.
