I have been working at Epsilon full-time

    Pros

    - Great work life balance
    - Full array of benefits including 401k (decent match) and discounted stock
    - Autonomy to decide how to best meet goals
    - Work with a good number of partners across industries, verticals, etc

    Cons

    - Red tape
    - Slow-moving company that is struggling to adapt at a speed that will keep it relevent
conflicting priorities across organizations make building proprietary products challenging
    - Processes and meetings for the sake of meetings
    - Top heavy org structure; lots of head scratching senior-level titles that seem to favor experience over value

    Advice to Management

Trim the fat and focus on incentivizing product development and cross-sell; a lot of "why should i help you?" in the company because people are protective of their respective P&L's and have little incentive to broaden perspective

I have been working at Epsilon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good place if you want mostly a chill 9-5 job with decent enough pay and benefits, and are willing to sacrifice career advancement, development and job security for that.
    - Decent enough pay for the work-life balance. You can make more elsewhere but they will work you much harder.
    - Some benefits are great - nice 401k match with instant vesting, standard health care with various hsa/dependent care accounts, babysitting allowance, fully paid maternity leave, some paid for meals and outings, various discounts
    - Most colleagues are both personable and highly knowledgeable. I have a great manager.
    - Access to a lot of software and new technology.
    - Got rid of annual performance review/evaluations. Much easier process now where you simply have frequent conversations with your manager and check off some boxes. In the end everyone gets 2% raises like everywhere else so it does not matter anyway.

    Cons

    - Little opportunity for development. There is "training" but its mostly useless as there are few opportunities to work on something new or interesting. Most people are stuck doing the same thing over and over.
    - The one benefit that is bad - there is no fixed PTO. PTO is "unlimited" meaning you negotiate every day with your manager and managers have to deal with the people who want to martyr themselves and never take a day off.
    - Lots of outsourcing and lay-offs. People have been laid off and replaced with colleagues in India - and that office keeps growing. People also get laid off the second Wall Street expectations are not met, even if the pipeline for the future looks strong. Often it is people with decades of experience that are targeted as they are the most expensive.
    - Middle managers are mostly great. Senior leadership is very dishonest however. For example, most lay offs happen within months of senior managers announcing "this is the final round, no more lay offs".
    - Typical big company corporate BS with frequent reorganizations and silly HR activities.

    Advice to Management

Senior management - be honest with us. We know lay offs can happen. No one expects a job for life anymore. Just admit it and say you can not guarantee that it won't happen, instead of lying to us and saying "EBR is only for new business growth" or "this is the last round of lay offs".
The best training you can offer is not an hour long powerpoint presentation but the opportunity for people to work across teams and on new projects. People learn by doing not by listening to a lecture with no follow up.

I worked at Epsilon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked many long nights and weekends to finish projects with little to no appreciation.

    Cons

co workers were great, upper management was good and bad, depending on who you worked under. Wouldnt go back if asked. Hours worked didnt equate to salary.

    Pros

Great benefits: in-home childcare, auto/home insurance group rates, discounts on event tickets, auto buying...

    Cons

Layoffs when the numbers aren't met. Which is at least once a year.

I have been working at Epsilon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Your experience at Epsilon does vary greatly depending on the team you land on. This can be a good company to work for after college. I have learned a lot in two years, and the work from home and PTO policy is pretty lax compared to other companies

    Cons

Pay is not comparable. On the east coast, they are laying off employees since more work is completed by off source resources.

    Advice to Management

Be more honest about job security (or lack thereof for some people)

I have been working at Epsilon full-time

    Pros

Decent culture with upgraded benefits implemented recently to help morale and work/life balance for full time employees.

    Cons

Cannot keep top talent for more than a couple of years. No clear vision as a company and it's clear to most employees are not the top priority for decision makers.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the good people working for the company. Find ways to motivate and keep Epsilon competitive with competitors in the industry. Even the most self-driven individuals find it hard to stay motivated over the years when there is very little to strive for in the company.

    Pros

Most of the people are super friendly and helpful. It is a large company, so there are opportunities to move around and change roles.

    Cons

A lot of politics, and hard work is not always rewarded. They also acquire companies regularly making one company vision a bit difficult.
