- 2.0Oct 20, 2019Anonymous EmployeeCurrent Employee, more than 5 years
Pros
-Direct managers are pretty great, with open communication -Unlimited PTO (though because of workload it's hard to take time off)
Cons
-Recent purchase by Publicis has things spiraling in a bad direction: Layoffs have been rampant in the past month with many teams being cut in half Despite layoffs due to budget cuts, teams are expected to do the same amount of work with half the people. The company line is, no joke 'You should be working at 120% to make up for any holidays and vacation' Keep in mind this is going to be tracked by billed hours. The trust I felt to do my job in the time I need to do it is gone. Instead I'm expected to forget about work/life balance and spend my time working on evenings and weekends.

Diverse client base presents lots of learning opportunities
Cons
Not enough people for the amount of clients we are supporting makes it difficult to manage work life balance. Employees Always stressed out due to being over worked

Pros
Opportunity to work with variety of new and interesting software and hardware Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly Wide variety of clients from different business backgrounds gives you ability to learn about different marketing strategies Flexible hours if necessary
Cons
Salary is not competitive with similar jobs at other companies Bonuses were once plentiful, but are now long gone Merit increases are insulting at best and seem to be based more on who you know than the quantity and quality of work you perform Work/Life balance is atrocious and unpaid overtime is expected Proper job training is non existent and usually consists of 'Here's a book, good luck!' Management has the tendency to make unrealistic promises to clients and place blame on the operators when they cannot deliver Client/money always come first, very little support Benefits are ridiculously expensive and the coverage is awful
