    No official training. Too many uncontrollables. No focus in employee development.

    Pros

    Some interesting initiatives are available time to time ...

    Cons

    ... that are being choked by the legacy stack of processes and applications and people who hold clutch to that stack as a job security. Too many redundancy and stagnation.
    As in any big company - kiss a-- politics over innovation and true professionalism.

    Advice to Management

    if you truly want to be innovative - have courage to let go of the old platforms and processes, cut some overpriced vendors you overpaid for years and be open minded and entrepreneurial in opening up new opportunities - your customers and your financial bottom line will thank you.

    I worked at Equifax (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Some managers were very good, some not so much. There were several different jobs available if you weren't happy with your current position. Some positions could work from home if approved.

    Cons

    Remote offices were not cared for and the systems always worked extremely slow. Some managers were more concerned with their own well being, instead of their employees. There was always an extremely large workload.

    Advice to Management

    Start reviewing your managers and really listen to the employees. If you give a survey, at least follow through with changes that were promised.

    Pros

    relaxed environment, great team members, flexibility to work from home as needed, excellent security within the building and within the system

    Cons

    no real training documents were offered - it was a learn as you go. Many changes throughout the implementation. miss leading opportunity to become full time

    offer a more structured training and don't miss lead potential perm positions

    Pros

    Currently shifts are 4 - 10 hr shifts - no lunch, marginal health care benefits

    Cons

    Lack of training, all unwanted work is passed to this group, poor communication between shifts, going to shared work areas.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your workers and stand up for what they want & need instead of trying to take on everytihing from everyone just to look good yourself.

    Culture, intelligent colleagues, advancement opportunities..

    Cons

    Poor high deductible healthcare coverage.

    Advice to Management

    Look for alternative healthcare plans with lower deductibles for fees being charge. Coverage was better and cheaper prior to Cigna.

    - pay
    - having the name on your resume
    - benefits were decent but could've been better
    - a lot of things to learn and know about the business

    Cons

    - hard to be promoted with the company. If you didn't come into the company in a particular department, then it would be like pulling teeth to get promoted to do something else.
