    I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pension plan, RRSP, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, On site daycare & cafetria

    Cons

Losing market share, layoffs, eroding compensation (used to be 37.5 hrs/wk, now 40; used to pay overtime, no longer the case; can be scheduled any day of the week including weekends without any compensation). Consistently asked to do more with less, but eventually you're left with nothing. Demoralized staff.

Little room for growth, managers in place who shouldn't be, their soft skills are long gone, decisions based on emotion and butt-covering rather than logic and the good of the company.

    Advice to Management

Scrap the regions, return to Swedish management style. RNAM is dysfunctional.

Invest in good leadership in OSS/BSS and encourage the team leads towards lateral hiring rather than looking into their teams.

I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Traditional workplace with no surprises

    Cons

    Unprofessional confrontation by senior management
Inability to deliver payroll on time without proper notice by HR
Unrealistic expectations of job, tasks versus resources given
Inability to differentiate work from personal time by senior management
Toxic work environment and no guidance
Little to no mental health support or awareness
Little to no opportunities for advancement
Below average training and onboarding process

    Advice to Management

I was never treated this horribly at any company of any size, let alone expecting such a giant corporate to be so unprofessional. Before asking why employees leave out of the blue, maybe ask if senior management is actually doing their jobs in providing adequate training, support, and follow-up with subordinates. Working at this company has caused me my mental health and wellbeing, and this is not the first time something similar has happened.

Just to clarify, the local branch has still not apologized or acknowledged their mistakes, and some were a clear violation of local labour laws.
