I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Friendly, professional atmosphere, which attracts decent employees.
Ericsson culture values work-life balance (at least in Product Development).
Good facilities in some offices (e.g. gym, restaurant, library etc).
    Fair compensation.

    Cons

Ericsson is going through strategic transitions at the moment due to tough market conditions - so may not be a very secure option.
In struggling with profits, often seems to be overly concerned with costs - sometimes to the detriment of productivity (e.g. lack of investment in equipment, face to face meetings and sometimes training).

    Advice to Management

Need to be disruptive in technology.
Don't just follow the technical trends.
Don't spin buzzwords - although I think the new CEO realizes this!
