I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Depending on your department, work/life balance can be very good. It is also a very flexible work environment. Management will also let you handle your work and not micro manage you unless they need to.

    Cons

Company has been going through a very rough time the past few years. Stocks have dropped by half in less than a year. No jobs available to grow. Salaries are very low.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your teams locally.Make sure people are happy before losing them. If you open your eyes, you'll noticealot of people looking elsewhere.

    I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked as an intern for a total of one year as part of my university's co-op program. I learned a lot, and I am really happy with my experience

    Cons

Maybe the only complain that I have with my experience is that I didn't do much of a coding for a real final product

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to be if you love technology and telecoms
Family oriented atmosphere - amongst peers
Good Benefits, although base might be lower than other similar companies

    Cons

This depends on which org you are in, but in some cases politics trump success.
In my case, many burnouts, people quitting, careers and talented people put on the back burner.

    Advice to Management

Smarten up and encourage talent to come out of your employees

I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fun Environment, Great Atmosphere, Well Managed, Location a nightmare (New Location should improve that)

    Cons

Pay is average!!, Rare opportunities for advancement!

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

You get a relatively secure job if hired as permanent employee
Your work load is nowhere close to high.

    Cons

You will not learn as you are surrounded by little-minded and high-paid managers.

    Advice to Management

Fire your permanent employees with low performance or technical knowledge and hire external talents. A company's asset is its diversity not the experience of people which has hired 20 years ago!

    Pros

Great place to learn programming as an intern, although this varies largely from department to department.

    Cons

No many ambitious people. Most full-timers seem to take it as a 9-5, just doing their time.
