Pros
Fast paced trauma center with a dedicated staff. Everyone works hard to support the medical needs of the diverse community. Happy to have the new ER. It really is a big family!
Cons
There’s a lot of people working, but many places to park. They even have a shuttle!

Pros
The teamwork and teaching are generally excellent. It's a sprawling hospital with multiple clinics, specialties and floors. There's room to find your niche.
Cons
Understaffing is constant. Sometimes to dangerous levels. There are no aides or phlebotomy for the vast majority of shifts. Extremely reactive in addressing issues. They are just now negotiating for retention bonuses.

Pros
Opportunity to learn if you are eager to. There are a lot of different patient diagnoses throughout the hospital and if you want to learn, there is usually someone willing to teach you about something.
Cons
Short staffing, frequent 1:1 assignments with sometimes unpredictable/unsafe patients and little training on how to interact. Little autonomy, techs and aides are not used to full abilities.

Working short staffed, favorites who get overtime before others
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Hours. Double time after 9 hours
Cons
Short staffed. To much people in administration
- Current Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Great health benefits, easy drive in, free parking
Cons
A building run by people who get overpaid, and do not care about the employees, as they are just numbers. A building that all issues never come to light because they have working relationships with all news outlets. But don't worry, when there is an major issue you'll get a pizza party and a tshirt.
