    I have been working at Escalate Retail full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Really friendly people, helpful and welcoming. The pay is pretty good though in tougher times, there were no raises. Great flexibility and work-home life balance.

    Cons

    Not much opportunity for growth to upper management or well defined roles with career paths. Also, not very proactive in jumping on to newer technologies.

    Advice to Management

    Get down in the trenches.

    Pros

    A lot of moving parts and solid growth until the crash of 2008 put 1/3 of the home furnishing customers out of business. Solid view of financial status.

    Cons

    Point solution R&D had to be sacrificed for enterprise integration.

    Pros

    The employees were great back in the days

    Cons

    Once it got sold and sold over and over again, the management worked you to death and lacked growth opportunity. Heavy on top management and not enough workers. Lacked corporate culture and everything was based on making money money regardless what was good for the client or employees.

    Pros

    A great story/vision if the technologies could come together. Very nice people that are willing to help.

    Cons

    Too many products with no real strong direction. Very limited resources to help in sale opportunities. Company being managed by finance and managed to the private equity investor's expectations. Products that need updated.

    Advice to Management

    Figure out who and what you want to be and make a commitment to that direction! Enable your sales organization with resources to help you win!

    Senior management does not care enough about the work being performed by their employees and dos not focus enough on their customers.
