I have been working at Essentia Health full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

decent benefits, rewards in caring for patients

    Cons

radically understaffed and expected to take on more continually

    Advice to Management

hire more people instead of expecting staff to do more and more and more with less resources ("resilience" is needed by overworked employees, not employees who are treated fairly... find "joy" at work? not when 50-60 hr workweek is the norm)

I worked at Essentia Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I experience a very positive work environment. I can not say enough wonderful things about the doctors and nurses I worked with.

    Cons

Floating to other floors would be the biggest con, but it is necessary for staffing purposes. It was never a fun experience, other floors expect you know how they run.
