I have been working at Estée Lauder Companies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Name
    O.K benefits
    Great Co-workers
    Good Perks
Corporate Discounts on big names (Apple, Verizon, Car deals)

    Cons

    Not enough emphasis on development
    No direct path for opportunity
    Management level bias
Slow to catch up with current times (social media, development, process emphasis)

    Advice to Management

Live what the brand preaches, develop your internal talent for those who WANT to be there. There are some who fall to the back and do not want to progress their careers however they are the first to move forward. Those who come in early/stay late and work hard are often noticed but not advanced forward due to "needed demand". This is quite the morale killer and will be detrimental in the growth of the company in long term as the next generation will be less understanding than the current. Upper management needs to let go of the favoritism & bias, learn more about their employees and strive to make the company as good as we preach!
