    Pros

Great company - have received a lot of mentorship/career guidance and made true friendships. Also good work-life balance in corporate.

    Cons

Wish the culture was a bit more progressive and less "corporate"

    Pros

Free beauty products, you gain a lot of experience, and it looks good on your resume. You can make some really great friendships with coworkers.

    Cons

ELC prides itself on being a great place for women, yet most of the top mgmt positions are still held by men. Most of the women in leadership positions are often oppressing other women especially at the smaller brands. There’s an uneven workload—everyone wants to delegate, but there’s only about 2-3 people who are actually executing all of the work on large teams. It’s also not as diverse as they claim unless you’re at one of the top 3 brands (Estée, Clinique, MAC). It’s better to join with years of beauty experience behind your belt, otherwise you get stuck with a low base pay and it’s hard to get promoted. Some leaders have 0 boundaries and will harass you at all hours of the night.
