I worked at Esterline as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great market positioning and product variation. Deep relationship with Boeing, which is a Pro so long as Boeing continues successfully.

    Cons

They in a corporate/governance re-engineering state, moving from a position where long-time exec team was used to operating as a hands-off holding company, to running like an operating company where lines of operational authority roll up to HQ for the 1st time. Are they executing this transition well? Ask the right questions in your interview with them to find out about how they consider capacity for change, effective resourcing and employee satisfaction.

Deep relationship with Boeing, which is a Con if Boeing to navigate successfully through it's most challenging of all decades with unprecedented competition, the retirement of an aging workforce, and a new staffing function severely challenged by lack of leadership ownership of the hiring process.
