    Pros

Nothing is Good, they just pay on time

    Cons

They pay less than average, the new management is taking the company to the unknown, no clear vision just a greedy CTO and CEO is playing with the company irrationally

    Advice to Management

Find another playground to play with

    Challenging Work Environment
    Need to be a self-starter

    Cons

Management is overloaded and may not be able to give you the "kick-start" you need to get you entrenched in various projects quickly.

    Advice to Management

The EtQ Management team is moving EtQ forward in the right direction. Quite Impressed.

    Pros

This community of like-minded individuals could, quite possibly make the world an efficient power house that has a hand in all things both tangible and non. That is as long as everybody remains in agreement.

    Cons

Look what happened the last time a culture tried to preserve the, relevant, greater good. The birth of the MAFIA took place. Moreover, lunches and breaks are allowed but not paid. Extra late hours are required to make up for time spent recharging. Workloads are too great, commradery is replaced by rhedieric, family dynamics are strained due to unrealistic schedules, and upper management berates their finest publicly at staff meanings that are called to order at 5 am. GO Team Reliance!

    Advice to Management

Hire more part time support to carry the weight of Fulltimers that desire a life outside the rat race. Allow remote positions, daycare, family lunches at company cafeteria, encourage family inclusions and be KIND. Thank you

I worked at EtQ full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good benefits
    Below average salary
    Fellow teammates are nice
    Vacation time is okay
Application has a great spot in the industry

    Cons

Manager does not respond to emails and told Skype or text messaging is the only form of communication for the team.

Very departmental organization where departments do not talk well internally with one another.

For a company making millions in a year sharing a hotel room with a fellow employee that you don't even know seems really strange and cheap.

No on-board training or scheduled training.

High turn over of very skilled employees leaving the company or being let go with no severance.

Top management is a clique, that only looks out for themselves.

Surveys are sent out to employees asking feedback on their manager that's suppose to be anonymous but asking your department and where you work location wise. Once completed if negative feedback is entered your days are numbered at the company.

Managers and one select individual does all the traveling but when you're hired you're told you be traveling to clients up to 50%. Managers collecting frequent flyer points and hotel points.

Have to punch a time card as a salaried
    Employee.

90 day probation period at the end of the 90
Days they do not like you they will let you go.

    Advice to Management

Maybe it's not the employees being let go you need to replace maybe it's your managers managing your teams, which won't change because you need them to make your $$$$$ each year.

I worked at EtQ full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You can learn a lot and develop skills. The opportunity to interact with customers around the world brings valuable customer service skills and the software teaches a lot about compliance management. The software is great and serves its customers well.

    Cons

Management cares only about numbers unless you are in the clique - the few employees who have found high favor with the management. Little concern is taken for employee development. They hire for skills and don't develop them. They have a tendency to chew people up and spit them out but don't hesitate to use the person, unethically, until they are ready to drop them. No severance is offered. Only what is legally mandated.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your people and listed to their concerns. When someone has been there a long time, give them severance when they are let go. That is a nice gesture for someone getting back into the workforce. If you do t care about your people, tell them that up front. Try out this crazy thing called ethics!

    Pros

Lots of travel for travel lovers.

    Cons

The pay scale is below mediocre. A lot of what you learn is company specific and is not marketable skills.

    Advice to Management

re-engineer the etq-script API and its java-docs. Pay better to reduce turnover. Do not underestimate the hidden cost of losing your experienced employees.

I have been working at EtQ full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's like working with a family. Everyone is willing to help and get things done in a timely manner. We also bond over special events held throughout the year, so you get to know others outside of your team.

You will see your work ethic involve from the first day you start, especially if you are joining the team right out of college. It's fast paced, but adjustable. Upper management is always willing to help you adjust your course of action if needed. They will always make sure you aren't overwhelmed with work. They also are always looking for suggestions and ideas that will benefit your work and the company.

We are located closely to Main Street, so there is always something to do whether on your lunch break or even after work.

They are also always opportunities to attend events and shows that will help you boost your potential in your position. They encourage learning inside and outside of the office, which is a huge plus for starting position in a company.

    Cons

    Parking, especially during snow storms
Fast paced working, if you aren't good at time management
