The owner does not have any respect for the lives of her employees, I know one of her employees has worked for her for 6 years and still only makes $12 an hour. The job is demanding and stressful, as all housekeeping jobs are, but the owner would expect only a few of her teams to work over time (often from 7am until 6 or 7pm, M-F) while the rest get off early to pick their children up for daycare. This is so that the owner can still make the money she wants to make without having to deal with people quitting because of their children. The company only pays $3 a day for time spent in the car; when I did the math, this meant that we were making below minimum wage for all the time we spent at work combined. Terrible place to work.
