I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are nice
Trainers in the training center are nice
    Supervisor is nice

    Cons

Says they are thinking ahead, yet lag behind in expanding to keep up with growth
Future renovations require use of a shuttle, that is poorly optimized in terms of drop off/pick up locations
Hearing that pay is bad compared to other companies

    Advice to Management

Slow or stop hiring while construction is going on, no point in shoving more people in an already over crowded facility and adding to the construction confusion.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A good company to work for. Pay is a little on the low side but most of the people are great and flexible with hours. Decent benefits.

    Cons

With rapid growth comes limited space and parking issues which they are working on.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of PTO, great healthcare, great management, job security for years. They will also grow you within the company once they decide you will stay for awhile. You can move from the lab into management in about five years.

    Cons

They draw from an inexhaustible source of fresh graduates. Because of this, the pay is terrible and they have a very high turnover rate. They appear to have factored this right into the business model.

Once you have worked here for a couple years and your hourly wage is finally becoming worth working over time, they push you to become Senior Scientist/Chemist/Microbiologist and adopt a salary.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Run a variety of tests. As long as you work core hours of 9-3 they don't care how you get your time in. Good benefits.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement unless you want to go into management.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great employees with great skills.

    Cons

Poor pay, will increased turnover to better salary.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to pay your employees a competitive salary. Great business model for a bad economy, but will lose good people to higher pay as economic gets better.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Team focused, offers shift differential, decent pay

    Cons

Vesting schedule for 401K is awful, family benefits premium monthly is over $500 for health coverage, up to 3% merit based wage increased annually, maximum 10% per job position raise. HR is Lancaster, PA based and is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Make sure HR handles employee concerns appropriately, this company is very profitable and pays employees subpar.

    Pros

    Super flexible hours
    Hire with limited experience
Facilities are very nice (at my PSS site)

    Cons

Low pay with little to no opportunity for overtime.
    Lots of down time.

    Advice to Management

Hire fewer people, allow us to make more money for more work done per employee. Seems overstaffed from where I stand.

I have been working at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories (More than a year)

    Pros

Very flexible with outside life. PTO starts at 3 weeks which is unheard of.

    Cons

Salary is unbelievably low. Little to no raise even with an above average review. Known for paying well below industry.

    Advice to Management

Give better pay to retain top talent. Help employees to grow by setting goals and proper training.
