I have been working at European Parliament full-time

    Pros

A very open environment, where self-initiative and autonomous thinking are welcomed. If you look for tasks and show interest in the work of your team, you will be rewarded. You will be able to witness and experience parts of the EU sphere that are unknown to the public and get to know EU decision-making in great detail.

    Cons

Flows of work are rather unstable, so you may find yourself having nothing to do at some time, especially when the Parliament is inactive. This may lead you to lose some motivation.

    Advice to Management

Make better use of trainees. Many of them complain they have too little work to do, which is a sign that their potential is going to waste.
