Pros

At EWC, there is an absolute work life balance that leadership is behind 100%. The culture is amazing, it's a fun place to work, half day Fridays year round are an awesome perk, great benefits, professional growth opportunities.

To be fair, I should list some cons but I really can't think of any!

The culture is authentic and positive. Truly a fun and supportive place to work.

The company has amazing marketing that nearly guarantees you will have guests which makes meeting goals less difficult

Cons

there aren't many places to go up from this position. The salary the company pays most managers (from what I've gathered from managers at national conferences) is particularly low for their revenue. Little to no outreach and lack of corporate communication and clarity.

Don’t go above and beyond for this company, they’ll drop and replace you without a second thought for so much as even standing up for yourself. They do not support personal growth and clearly do not value honesty or integrity. I put in my notice to work closer to home and spend more time with my family. EWC had another waxer doing my job duties the next day. Some people have a great experience, most have a terrible experience. At the very least, there is no consistency in terms of in-center staff feeling valued. I dedicated myself to my center and my job, took both very seriously and it was thrown back in my face the second I was no longer a walking dollar sign. EWC is no more than a stepping stone into the industry.
