    Pros

    50% off waxes, 40% off retail products, benefits for full time employees, friendly coworkers, short shifts that are perfect for people with second jobs or are going to school.

    Cons

    No paid or unpaid breaks at the Alexandria, VA The Hilltop location. You are sometimes expected to work up to 10-11 hours at the desk by yourself with not a single break. Horrible management. Manager is extremely inexperienced and has a tendency to 'power trip' on the GSAs and waxers. The work schedule is horrible where you are expected to close one night and be back in less than 12 hours to open again. Management also leaves the GSAs to face customer problems instead of stepping up to the plate and resolving customer complaints immediately. Pay can go up or down depending on your wax pass sales, which you get very little commission off of. They go by your quarterly sales. After you get an increase in pay, it only lasts for 20 days before you get another quarterly review. There also seems to be no way to work part time (less than 30 hours) at this location, says management. They also consider 30 hours enough to live off of and afford their costly insurance. Very high turnover with 6 people leaving within a three month period.
