    Pros

    I loved most of my clients. The training was fantastic it made me very good at what I do and some of their patterns are something I still use to this day. And nothing compares to the wax the wax is the best I’ve ever worked with you can’t find anything like it.

    Cons

    The actual company is the worst. You’re expected to be so fast people feel like meat and it’s all about money money money. But none of it goes to us. I made minimum wage which was $13 at the time and tips but of course tips aren’t consistent and it depended on the day. The shifts are only 6 hours but after lunch you only get paid 5.5. There will be hours at a time where you are just sitting around because they’re over staffed always for the possibility of a walk-in but you can’t read a book or be on your phone or you’ll get written up you basically stare at a wall. The schedules are very difficult to change and you have to work either all day Saturday or all day Sunday and that is Non negotiable and it’s a 9 or 10 hour shift on that day depending on the day. HR was a nightmare and you don’t feel valued at all because the turn over is so high in my 10 months there only 1 person still worked there that was there when I started. Overall this is a job that will help you in the long run. A good start for new Estie’s but take it for what it is, learn how to be good at it and get out of there. 100% view it as a pay your dues situation. Greatful for the experience, terrible company and business model.

    Pros

    Great opportunity to practice and get time and technique down with high client volume with variety of services. (pro/con) Tips are good if you build a good relationship with guests.

    Cons

    Little to no breaks between guests. Pay in relation to work. ( You shouldn't have to rely on tips) Corporate management does not care, money hungry. Guest scheduling was always and issue. ( scheduling large service back to back) Little to no training, basically sink or swim.

    None, none, none and none

    Cons

    I would think twice about trusting this company with your personal needs. The new manager treats employees terribly. For minimum wage they get texted at home and are required to discuss the business on their own time. It's a sweat shop and employees are not allowed breaks as outlined by Oregon labor laws. (Not even unpaid breaks because they are grossly understaffed) This guy beats his employees to the ground. He also takes credit for their sales which is their only chance at making more than minimum wage. They are harassed to sell, sell, sell and push, push, push and then he will fire people without warning and then blame the employee by lying. Who wants to support a company who does this? It is 2016.
