I have been working at Evalueserve full-time

    Pros

Can't think of any, really. Was a mistake to join them in the first place.

    Cons

Evalueserve has very little respect for employee well-being and work-life balance. Compensation is also distinctly below par that of the industry, so there are very few reasons to want to work here. Everyone is asked to perform the work of at least 3 people at one time and the workday/ work week never seems to end. Company culture is very top-down, bureaucratic and management believes more in clocking 'face-time' than in outcomes.

Career aspirations of individuals are not taken into account at all, and the company has absolutely no idea how to nurture talent, especially senior talent, let alone HIPO (High Performing) individuals. I would strongly recommend potential hires to re-think their choices.

    Advice to Management

Please learn to respect, accept and nurture your HIPO individuals and senior talent. It is not easy to find the right staff for the right roles, so when you do find someone, please know how to manage and nurture them.

I have been working at Evalueserve full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees in the company are friendly and hopeful people, friendly environment between employees. Some projects are good leads to future jobs with good clients.

    Cons

Management is a mess, micromanagement is a huge problem, most of the Americans are managed by mangers transferred from India, whom are not fit in with American work culture and honestly sometimes don't know how to manage people or provide business solutions. A lot of bureaucracy created by managers leading to a huge waste of time in communications between client and employees working on the project. Projects are highly unstable because client satisfaction is low.

Straight forward exploitation in compensation for fresh graduate students is another huge issue. They recruit out of campus and give out a rate lower than average industry standard. Once a year pass, huge turn over starts, employees either jump to client's side or leave because they realize what this company is doing.

Also concerns about the finance of the company, heard of how it is in red and saw a lot of turn over and lost of client due to turn over.

    Advice to Management

Hire American managers, and provide standard rate of compensation.

I worked at Evalueserve full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Colleagues are cool and smart, but you all bond over how poorly mgmt treats you.

    Cons

They don't care about you. They just want cheap labor. They reduced benefits as time went on. They don't have a good culture or environment. HR is aggressively on the side of the employer rather than the employee. They nickel and dime you for everything. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

    Advice to Management

    Care more about your employees

    Pros

    Healthy atmosphere. Good office ambiance
Nice crowd around the building as there are many call centers around, its a good timepass

    Cons

It sucks to be in EVS.
If you are a result oriented person. It makes no sense to work in this office.

    Advice to Management

The only advice is that dont recruit result oriented, straight forward people. Recruit only the ones who can be 'diplomatic enough' as once a manager there told me.

    Pros

Competition- There are nice bunch of people all around. You will get to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

    Responsibilities

    Cons

    No work life balance

    Employee care: nil

Overall, a bad experience to work with this company. The company needs to mend a lot of things in its working.

    Advice to Management

The management must realize that the employees have a life beyond work as well. Senior management is not motivational at all and is only considered about well being of the work coming in and their own growth. Employee should not be treated like machines just to get the business going.

    Pros

The only good thing that I can think of is the exposure and responsibilities that one gets. Nothing else comes to my mind

    Cons

Work-Life balance is absent. Infact the only thing that management cares about is business. Period.

There are some managers who will make u feel as if you never even went to school!! and the senior management firmly stands behind them, because they bring business to the company and thats what they care about.

I guess most of the company's intent is known when they ask you to sign a bond of two years. Good companies never do that anywhere in the world. Only when they know that the are going to exploit people, such measures are taken.

Training is nill, and you will only be a resource for this company which is fully replaceable.

They would do all that they can do for sucking every single penny out of things which can enhance employee satisfaction. For eg. they cant even subsidize transportation for their people!! Every single penny will be charged from you.

10 hours shift, no overtime payment, will suck the life out of you!!

Overall: Bad company to work for which is managed by people who only have self enhancement and self growth as their motive of life!!! BEWARE

    Advice to Management

All that I had, I have mentioned above, I dont expect anything to happen by giving 'advice' to the management. They are too self centric to heed to any advice.

    Pros

Low workload for some, starting point for freshers

    Cons

    1. Incompetent, insecure bosses who are complete opportunists, they slipped in at the right time and got promoted to senior positions, very undeserving otherwise
    2. Performance will be noticed, but all possible strategies will be made to curb growth and snatch opportunities
    3. 2 year bond an unwanted hassle
    4. Low quality of work and no career growth, main objective to earn revenues be it from random/ irrelevant work

    Advice to Management

Test out your group managers and you'll know how big they are for a liability on the company, work routine includes only administration work. They lack knowledge and promote favoritism in groups.Meritocracy should be given priority .

    good knowledge sharing
if you are lucky you can get to work on interesting projects
    nice people

    Cons

if you are unlucky you get to do the same thing all over again
    very long working hours
    terrible pay, no paid overtimes
absolutely intransparent decisions by the management
many times you feel that you are being treated as a resource which can be disposed anytime
if you happen to be a foreigner one can struggle with colleagues speaking way too much Hindi despite of the fact the official languge of the company is English

    Pros

Good clients. If you are really interested, you get to know how big IB banks work, but just to give you a general idea. No real learning after 6 months...

    Cons

1 - Managers lie to you so much! Even when its not neccesary...
    2 - Micromanagement
3 - Boring, repetitive, copy & past regardless of postion/area
4 - Overall, unchalleging atmosphere, subservient managers hiring subservient associates.

    Advice to Management

Advice to the Owners: replace top management. Hire senior HR staff. Middle management should be lot more honest during hiring interviews, that would solve 50% of the issues.
