I have been working at Evalueserve (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Research oriented company. If you want to become a consultant or at least want to work with a big four, then Evalueserve is a good launchpad.

    Cons

Salary is modest. You need to keep a very good relationship with your boss to move upward.

    Advice to Management

Do a reality check. Its become top heavy company, where many AVPs don't have teams and are individual contributors.

I have been working at Evalueserve full-time

    Pros

1.) Opportunities for growth. It has become more clear what the career paths are for positions at Evalueserve and what is required to move to the next level. EVS rewards those who go above and beyond what is expected of them and self-initiative is highly valued.

2.) Flexibility. It is possible to move to a different department depending on your interests, as long as you have proven yourself with your current responsibilities. This is different from other companies where if you're hired for a certain position, you are expected to stay at that position. For example, an analyst on the Operations side can become a Solutions Architects rather than staying in Operations because they want to get into the sales aspect.

3.) Internal trainings. Employees have access to many internal trainings to further and deepen their knowledge and skillset.

4.) Cultural diversity. As a truly global company, we have many Indian, Chinese, Chilean, and American employees worldwide, and employees from other cultures. It is nice to have such diversity.

    Cons

Not many come to mind. The only thing is the lack of client roles that some may experience (some inside, some outside of candidate's/management's control), which leads to extended periods of time on trainings rather than client work.

    Advice to Management

Please encourage transparency on what goes on at a high-level across the whole company.

I have been working at Evalueserve (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am very happy working for Evalueserve. It feels like Evalueserve really respects and appreciates their employees. It is a very fun, yet professional office. Great balance. It is a very welcoming office, all the way up to Senior Management. They encourage open dialogue and for you to voice your thoughts and ideas. I constantly feel that I am learning something new everyday. Best company I have ever had the privilege to work for.

    Cons

There is a lot to learn when you first join. At times, it can feel overwhelming.

I have been working at Evalueserve full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees in the company are friendly and hopeful people, friendly environment between employees. Some projects are good leads to future jobs with good clients.

    Cons

Management is a mess, micromanagement is a huge problem, most of the Americans are managed by mangers transferred from India, whom are not fit in with American work culture and honestly sometimes don't know how to manage people or provide business solutions. A lot of bureaucracy created by managers leading to a huge waste of time in communications between client and employees working on the project. Projects are highly unstable because client satisfaction is low.

Straight forward exploitation in compensation for fresh graduate students is another huge issue. They recruit out of campus and give out a rate lower than average industry standard. Once a year pass, huge turn over starts, employees either jump to client's side or leave because they realize what this company is doing.

Also concerns about the finance of the company, heard of how it is in red and saw a lot of turn over and lost of client due to turn over.

    Advice to Management

Hire American managers, and provide standard rate of compensation.
