I worked at Evantage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Self motivation; most money made from this job are commissions and they were very clear and up front about that. I've heard people say that weren't aware of that. If they weren't, they just weren't paying attention. Also the atmosphere at this company is electric. Everyone helps everyone and nobody gets left behind.

    Cons

The one downside was maybe some of the commuting, it was a little more than I expected but still manageable

I have been working at Evantage full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

After graduating college I was very fortunate to have work in some really great industries, from advertising to retail and even the restaurant side. After a few years to committing myself, I realized the growth potential was nil to none. That was my wake up call to step outside of my comfort zone and find a company that will not only appreciate me but will offer growth and advancement opportunities.

I started working at Evantage in 2009. At first it was an adjustment for me, but I loved getting to learn new things every day. I began to develop my communication, sales and relationship building skills. My friends and family noticed I have changed into a very confident person within months of working with Evantage. This confidence helped me take on new challenges and eventually I earned my way into a management level position with the company.

I feel appreciated each day and I know my work makes a difference in the company, my fellow colleagues and my own life.

    Cons

None. Every new challenge I faced and will face in the future, I know the management team will be there to help me learn and grow.

    Advice to Management

Continue to show your support for your employees.

I worked at Evantage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are some very nice employees. It's a very young, fun work environment.

    Cons

The pay is terrible for the amount of work you have to put in.

    Advice to Management

Consider raising base-pay or offering some kind of benefits (PTO, health benefits etc)

I worked at Evantage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really love the leadership, the training and investment the people make in each other. Very fun people to work with.

    Cons

The job itself is awful. You'll have to drive hundreds of miles each week, go door to door and basically bother people, and then when you even make a sale, you make hardly anything. Not to mention, the hours are brutally long. 8:00am - 6:00pm. If you have a family, definitely not the job for you. You'll be lucky if you make $400 a week.

    Advice to Management

Don't over promise on the interview. Was told the average employee makes $1,000 a week - from talking with co-workers, that isn't even close. Keep leading with passion though!
