      The only pro is you'll have a job;however, you will have no life.

      I have been working at Everas Community Services full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      Everas pays more than most agencies. Great training program

      Cons

      Everas is so under staffed the manager has to manage the program and be a DSP. Managers are left to cover all shifts and most of the time are pulling doubles and triples daily. As a manager they work you like a dog and when you ask for help nobody answers the phone or cares. Managers are treated worse than dirt.

      Advice to Management

      Treat all your staff with respect. If your not going to provide staff provide some kind of incentive to those that are stuck doing the work.

      I worked at Everas Community Services full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      Direct Care Staff get overtime, families of clients send out thank you offerings such as food etc to show appreciation, pay is not great for residential and critical coworker staff. Management pay is decent, but salary meaning expect to work more than 40 hours weekly. Some staff are friendly (some). Clients are awesome when not having behaviors.

      There are so many unfortunately. I've worked in many agencies and this one takes the trophy for concerning. Let's see here...staff are extremely unprofessional and talk about other staff when they are not there in a disgusting manner especially if that person calls in. Upper management do not carry themselves in a positive manner and don't have tact when it comes to addressing concerns. Administration doesn't understand...

      Advice to Management

      Need new management that is positive and care about clients and employees. Just because someone has been there for many years and been doing their management job for that many years doesn't mean they should still be working for you. Hire professional staff and get rid of the unprofessional. There is a huge plague going on right now and it's affecting everyone. There should be someone on staff that people can go to when...

      Flexible schedule, can establish connections with staff and administration , the clients are GREAT and when you are able to provide adequate resources that help improve their quality of life it's an unbeatable feeling

      Cons

      Compensation is NOT adequate at all, inquiries about salaries are met with offensiveness and shut down right away, team work is demanded but not consistently provided by supervisors or administrators, your work is under-appreciated, and the second administration gets a bad word/vibe about an employee it seems as if there's a witch hunt against the employee no matter what the situation.       Hopefully Everas will realize that the evolving job market is not only changing to reflect skill sets and regulations, but it is also evolving to be more conscious and aware of motivating employees to achieve their potential with positive reinforcement and active inclusion into the organization through MULTIPLE bonding activities, not just activities that have a goal for the organization in mind, or a check to tick off....
