    Pros

    Company is experiencing rapid sales growth while continuing to innovate and launch new products and acquire technologies. Everbridge is market leader for critical event management. Great place for successful people to advance in their career with ample growth opportunities for existing employee's as well. Good sales people should take a serious look at Everbridge!

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in good people, the products. Keep doing what you have been doing.

    I have been working at Everbridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great product for emergency notification and leader in the industry. CEO has a great vision and is a strong leader.

    Cons

    Senior Management Team needs to listen to and value their employees. Poor execution of plans and no career development path. Management has too many direct reports and it takes too long to come up to speed. Training for new and existing employees needs work.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees and focus on developing them. When management makes a mistake don't penalize the employee by managing them out of the organization hold the management team accountable. Products are not sold by process, but with good coach, training and using a sales methodology that works.

    1.) The people there and how the company takes care of them. Awesome people and there are plenty of events and accommodations for employees. 2.) Recognition within the industry - being in Sales it certainly helps that EB is a market leader with a strong product offering.

    At this point I can't think of much I would change

    I worked at Everbridge full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good internal communications at all levels: social and collaborative, everyone is approachable and willing to help. A family-style environment where each employee is brilliant and looked at a subject matter expert so everyone's in-put counts. Fast-paced, fun, and positive -you enjoy going to work each day and want to challenge yourself to be your best. Leadership sets the tone, and the leadership here since its inception are high quality and highly interpersonal from the founders to the line of business managers.

    Cons

    For me there are no cons, but if you cannot handle a fast-paced environment then you may not be a good fit.

    Advice to Management

    Keep being proactive, innovative, positive, and invaluable to your clients, partners, and your employees. You all are doing a great job!

    Pros

    Growing company - both people and revenue. Strong executive management team with a track record and process for building companies. Completely revamped product platform two years ago has enabled opportunities for adding in new products to expand to new markets, and has taken a commodity product to a power position with clear differentiation. Really smart and nice people too.

    Cons

    This is not a place to work for those looking to glide by. This is a demanding work environment with high expectations for employees in terms of work output and quality.

    Advice to Management

    Continue being picky in hiring and promoting those who have earned it. Make sure to take care of top performers and "A players" who would be good targets for other employers.

    Incredible people, vibrant team atmosphere and best technology in this market

    Cons

    Office locations can seem independent, more emphasis should be placed on helping people part of a global company

    Less focus on future of EB technology and concentrate on current platform

    Nothing worth talking about here.

    Cons

    Churn and burn, poor management, screw the customer,nickel and dime, weird senior executives, worst vice president of sales ever - no gone, strangest CEO ever, poor expectations, terrible culture.

    Start over

    I worked at Everbridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    There is a lot of room for people to take initiative and start their own new ideas where they see fit. When you do this, there are either a group of strong agreement or you are shunned out of the 'circle'. So if the 50/50 odds are in your favor, you will go far at this company. Yet, it seems that people make career-limiting moves at every turn of this place. Also, there is a decent work/life balance.

    Cons

    There is a huge disconnect between the legacy employees in Glendale and the new executive team in Boston. All but one executive have been replaced with people who do not come from the industry or the market, so it is frustrating. At times the new executive team operates without informing the rest of the organization about things.

    Advice to Management

    More transparency, better culture, competitive market salaries, stop going cheap on headcounts, efficiencies in the finance department, unified sales & marketing leadership, promote the right people for the right roles

    A great place to work if you want to be part of a winning team, fast paced, opportunities to develop and work with like minded people.

    Cons

    So much going on, is a challenge if you're not used to a work environment with opportunities where you can make a difference.

    Strong values & mutual respect
    Growing rapidly from new business and acquisitions
    Marketing leading product set

    Cons

    Windsor office is small and the team has outgrown it, we have been told a move is planned this year.
    Growth and acquisitions means a lot of change, sometimes it can be hard to keep up.

    Advice to Management

    Now everbridge has gone public, maximize the advantages of being a 'big company' for the organisation and the employees, but don't lose the 'small company' culture.
